Singer-songwriter Brandon Bonine announced the release of his upcoming debut album WARRANTED WORRIES for Friday, April 27, 2018. The Roots-Rock artist's highly anticipated debut album is now available for pre-order on iTunes & Amazon beginning today.

About Brandon Bonine
Born and raised in the shadow of the Motor City, Brandon Bonine found music early on in life. Probably first hearing Teddy Pendergrass and Aaron Copland in his diaper, it was hard for him not to feel the infectious groove. First picking up the guitar at the age of 11, he spent hours learning from the jazz cats of his dad's record collection, idolizing the poster of Slash on his wall. He was rejected from music school, but that didn't stop him. Throughout college he divided his time between jazz gigs and DJing parties, often trading meals to build up his record and coffee collection. He finds inspiration from Pat Metheny, whom he's studied under, Townes Van Zandt, John Mayer, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. After college he hooked up with YOUNG RJ of Slum Village(J Dilla, 50 Cent) and began crafting his next body of work. Independent artists and songwriters, VIP guests, and personnel in the radio, film and television industries from around the world gathered for the indie music happening of the year, the 5th Annual Indie Music Channel Awards red carpet event at the legendary Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, April 24th, 2016.



The presentation of the awards was conducted on the stage of Clive Davis Theater inside the Grammy Museum, where Indie Music Channel artists gave dynamic performances.



Emphasis Records artist Stevie Hawkins, prevailed triumphant in two award categories, "Best Live R&B Performance" and "Best Live Blues Performance". Sharing the award for the R&B performance award are Victor Orlando, Grammy nominated percussionist to the stars and Miles Grayson, visionary producer-arranger-composer and pianist.



The Hawkins, Orlando and Grayson R&B accolade was garnered from their outstanding concert performance at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood for the 23rd Annual Los Angeles Music Awards and Hollywood F.A.M.E. Hawkins' blues award win is for a song titled "Tribute To James Brown", recorded live in Atlanta, GA, written, arranged, performed and produced by Hawkins. The live performance captures Hawkins keeping soulful Rhythm & Blues alive by rendering a powerful heartfelt tribute to the incomparable Mr. James Brown. Hawkins and his band pay bone-deep homage to Brown's musical riffs, vocalizations, songs, audience participation, and social consciousness. When asked about his thoughts surrounding winning the awards, Hawkins conveyed, "This is the first time ever receiving awards for live performances and I am very proud of them. Mr. Brown has been an inspiration to me for decades, and I am honored to have received an award by honoring him with my tribute song. I am in hopes that the video I put together for the song will be received in the light of a sincere tribute to Mr. Brown, because that's what it is. If in some way I can contribute to carrying his music and legacy forward, that is what I will do. May God be with you all."

The event was hosted and presented by Christopher Ewing, Emmy Award winning TV host, actor, model, and Indie Music Channel founder. As an actor, Ewing has appeared on such top rated shows as "All My Children", "One Life to Live" and others, plus over 80 radio & T.V. commercials. He has also been the narrator and /or spokesperson in countless industrial films for General Motors, IBM and many others.

Further nominees associated with Hawkins' creative team in the 5th Annual Indie Music Channel Awards were accomplished lyricist, Charlotte Hannon, who earned four "Best Song" nominations in the categories of Americana, Blues, Easy Listening and R&B. Irish recording artist and songwriter, John Breen, received a "Best Song" nomination in the Americana category along with Tim Crouch, a famed musician, songwriter and producer.

Blue Track Is Proud To Announce The Release Of Nelsen Adelard's Sixth Album "Voodou By You"

Blue Track is proud to announce the release of The Nelsen Adelard Band's sixth album "Voodou By You". The title is a lighthearted nod to the crazy things our better halves can seemingly make us do without our knowledge.

The album starts out in true Adelard form with the original "I Need Tonight With You" through five Delta Blues jams to the title track "Voodou By You."

What follows are four more originals reminiscent of the cut back trio approach Adelard took on his previous album, There's even an a cappella type harmonica and drum number that showcases Nelsen's affinity for the original.

Nelsen moved down to the Clearwater, Florida area and hooked up with his old friend and band mate, Jon Puhl. They played together in early incarnations of the NAB back in the 70s. Puhl brought with him a tight rhythm section of Mick Donner on bass and Phil Christman on drums. Nelsen's old friend and west coast band mate, Mark Norris even pops in for a couple tracks on the saxophone.

The new album "Voodou By You" is a smoking example of their combined talents. Excellent performances, great riffs and a no nonsense approach to modern Blues.

Harvested like the sweet sap from the cane fields Raw Sugar serves up a double dose of Sugar Blue on a 2-CD set, roughly two hours of music the excitement of a live recording with a "you are there" feel throughout.

Recorded during their 2011 US Tour RAW SUGAR captures Sugar Blue & band scaling the heights, stretching the boundaries of the genre and showcasing virtuoso power and passion.

The band delivers eclectic live renditions from their previous studio releases "Code Blue” and "Threshold" as well as some hot revamps with a combination of technique, style, and soulfulness.

At the climax of the performance a real crowd pleaser: an extended jamming version of Miss You, the breakout tune from The Rolling Stones’ Some Girls album that is defined by Sugar Blue’s unmistakable harmonica riff at the heart of the song.
Also included is the traditional chain gang song “Another Man Done Gone”: a gem and all time fan favorite solo performance whose previous live version at Montreux Jazz Festival garnered a Grammy for Sugar Blue.

Following 22 performances in 2011 in Germany and Austria, acoustic duo Runway 27, Left's first album 'Weekend Warriors' is set to be released. When you're the new kid on the block on the blues scene, you're essentially strumming it out on weekends.' Tony Adamo & Mike Clark: Groovin' High

Legendary drummer, Mike Clark (Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters) and the highly respected musician, trumpet player, big band leader and music arranger, Tim Ouimette recently completed the mix for vocal/hip- spokenword artist, Tony Adamo’s new CD at Ouimette’s recording studio in upstate New York. Adamo and Clark started this music project in the summer of 2011 after Clark recorded with Adamo on a new cover for Tower of Power’s “Soul Vaccination.” It was at that point a music alliance was formed between the two, and Clark became the music producer for Adamo’s new CD. The employees at the Cat House, having no children of their own, adopted the baby professor and raised him as a village does. From his early days of playing rattle in the cat house band, Cletis showed an aptitude for rhythmic invention. Because xylophone and squeaky toy seemed too rudimentary for such a gifted infant, the professor moved on to guitar. Pleased with the melodic possibilities of this new instrument but unsatisfied with the low expectations for rhythmic accuracy, Cletis quickly and wisely shifted to bass guitar.
