JES Release New Remixes And Music Video For Classic Tiesto - Taxigirl Tune "High Glow"

Expectations were high when JES decided to start work on a remix project for the genre-busting, progressive trance classic "High Glow" which she released with Tiesto under the mysterious "Taxigirl" moniker. "It's not everyday that you write a song with a guitar in a hotel bathroom and it translates perfectly to the dance floor," JES said about her experiences of writing while on tour. "As a songwriter you're always searching for inspiration, but sometimes the inspiration finds you".

Channeling the same creativity that she used to create the song, JES set about finding the perfect remixers. Hungarian producer and DJ Sunny LAX delivers a full tilt, progressive trance mix that brings "High Glow" right into 2014 without compromising the enchanting beauty of the original. Extended builds and a breathtaking, anthemic string-infused plateau perfectly compliment JES' ethereal vocals. Sunny's earliest releases on Anjunabeats quickly brought him to the forefront of the progressive trance genre with support from the likes of Above & Beyond & Armin van Buuren.

Independent developer Marcel Blum has released Soundplant 42 for Windows and Mac, the first major update since 2010 of the popular computer keyboard sound triggering program following a yearlong beta. Soundplant turns the standard QWERTY keyboard into a playable instrument with ultra low latency, allowing the instant playback of any format sound files on 72 keyboard keys with no need for extra hardware.
Soundplant's cult following has taken it to some amazing places. Hollywood engineer Ed Novick used it in his 2010 Academy Award-winning sound mixing on Inception as well as in The Dark Knight Rises, Moneyball, and other films. Surf rock band Man or Astro-Man? played their sci-fi samples with Soundplant; metal band Nile used it for exotic percussion. When the foley artists of NPR's A Prairie Home Companion aren't handmaking their sound effects, they turn to Soundplant for a digital assist. The NFL's Tennessee Titans used it at LP Field stadium. “Scorpion Resurrection” was written February 2013 by Richard Del Connor, "The Hippy Coyote" of American Zen for the completed screenplay, Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1. Richard explained to the Kulak’s Woodshed M.C. before his performance that he hopes this song will win an Oscar for ‘Best Song in a Movie.’ “Scorpion Resurrection” is track #3 on the End of the Line album by American Zen and tells the story of his Las Vegas adventure that led him back to his San Diego homeland. Richard has been living out of his 1996 forest green Toyota Tacoma truck with a purple fiberglass shell since he left his family in Montrose, California to start a Kung Fu and Tai Chi school in Las Vegas, Christmas 2011. "We're not homeless we have cars," sings Coyote. "I need a financial injection--to complete my scorpion resurrection." The album was recorded inside his “Tacoma Studios” with Richard pretending to be all four members of American Zen, "America's first Buddhist rock band™." Recorded using a Zoom-4Hn 4-track digital recorder, (a Christmas gift from one of his Kung Fu students), this album sounds like the first albums of Led Zeppelin and Cream with Coyote performing two original instrumental flute songs similar to “Bouree” by Jethro Tull.
Richard, known as "Kung Fu Cowboy" to his fellow stagehands, was stung in the neck by a tan scorpion October 2012 while working a Brad Paisley concert at the Cricket Amphitheater near the Mexican border. Two weeks prior to this, Richard had signed a “Life Option Agreement” with Scott Karahadian to write the Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1 screenplay based upon his life. Unable to work or do Kung Fu, swollen Richard became a writing partner and reshaped his true life story to now include ghosts jumping out of his body to do his Kung Fu fighting for him and rescue his children.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Los Angeles, CA - October 15, 2014 - Dallas, Texas legends Drowning Pool are set to release the two-disc Sinner (Unlucky 13th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) on 11/11/14 via The Bicycle Music Company/Concord and launch their Unlucky Sinner 13 Tour performing Sinner in its entirety beginning October 21st in San Antonio, Texas. The expanded reissue of their debut album Sinner, originally released on 6/15/01, represents the definitive version of Drowning Pool’s classic Dave Williams years, whose untimely death on 8/14/02 at the too early age of 30 marked an unlucky end to a rising star.
Sinner (Unlucky 13th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) is re-mastered and features a new bonus disc of 13 studio demos direct from the band’s vaults, officially available here for the first time. The unreleased track “Soul”, from Disc Two, was serviced to the Active Rock radio format on 10/13/14 and a video for “Soul” will premiere in November featuring rare and never before seen footage of Drowning Pool from the Sinner era. James Hand Asks “Why Oh Why” On His Latest Single.

What James Hand has done with his new effort is bring back that classic Country style while adding a message of love and peace. Though his themes are heartfelt and inspirational, it’s through his Christian faith that he manages to create wholesome records and “Why Oh Why” is no exception. “Why Oh Why” exemplifies an authentic Country record, with up-beat guitar strumming and fiddle playing only found in the heart of Country music.
