Luzern, Switzerland -- After recently releasing two traditional music videos and receiving thousands of YouTube views and positive reception, the internationally acclaimed solo artist, Ajay Mathur, has once again teamed up with Swiss production company Cyrus Films to create a short film music video for the single track off his new album, A Matter of Time.
This is the third successful music video production between Cyrus Films and Ajay Mathur since the release of his new album earlier this year. The idea with this production was to create more of a film rather than the traditional music video. “I find traditional music videos boring. They are all starting to look the same. I don't have to make a video that shows the band or a singer performing the song in some unreal setting. I'd rather go to concerts to see the band because the atmosphere there is live, loud and real,” says Mathur. During a sit down with director Chris Bucher to discuss concepts for the film, Ajay came to realize that he'd rather use the music video medium to tell a story and leave the band performing for the live concerts. They both found the idea of debunking Bollywood romance as a movie within a movie exciting, and they decided to even mix traditional Swiss cultural peculiarities with the Bollywood touch to give an Alpine-Heidi-Om Shanti kind of twist to it.
Born and raised in India, Ajay performed at some of the hottest clubs in Delhi and Mumbai during the height of the 1970's. While some of the biggest international musicians from the West, including Jimmy Page and Don Cherry, were touring the country in pursuit of spiritual enlightenment, they joined Ajay on stage for unforgettable jam sessions that lasted through the night. In the 1980's, love brought Ajay to Switzerland. It was there that Ajay celebrated success with his rock group, Mainstreet. Along with sold out tours across Europe, the group had an impressive four singles and two albums make it to the top 20 on the Swiss radio charts, enjoy airplay on various European radio stations and month-long club power play in Tokyo's Hard Rock Cafe.
The new video 'A Matter of Time' is off of Ajay's newest album 'A Matter of Time,' which is his first album since his days with his band Mainstreet.

Shamiah second single "Love" has convinced me and will convince those who have listened to her first single "Nothing Like This" Ft. P. Washington that she definitely has more than one hit up her sleeves and it being written by Maurice Carmon "Mlyrics", as her first single was,having multiple hits is no surprised. The combination of these two seems to be the ingredients for hit music and success. This is also another great production from The Iron Mavericks. The 4th Annual Chinese Midi Rock Awards is in the works, set to go down on December 16th in Beijing at M Space. The Chinese Midi Rock Awards are a ceremony held in cooperation with Beijing's Midi Music School, as well as numerous Chinese musical and cultural figures who have developed the ceremony as a way to annually judge the music that comes out of China, and select the most outstanding.
The Midi Awards nomination process is already underway: the judge criteria includes, but is not limited to this year's performances, albums, contribution to society/public service, and degree of recognition and exposure among their rockers, among other various aspects, all of which will be equally considered. Artists who released work in China between October 1st of 2011 and October 1st 2012 will be considered. There are already 82 records which have gone through the selection panel. The 119 panel members have submitted nominations, which are being reviewed by 9 members of the grand jury to see which ones will make it to the final selection.

With a successful promotional campaign Bomber has been creating the right kind of attention, and literally has exploded. With his own style that consists of infectious pop melody and awesome hip-hop beats. Announced today is Bomber’s debut single Amazing, the track will be released on the 28th October.
Bomber started his journey with the release of ‘On My Way,’ which features the producer on vocals and has brought Bomber a good amount of new fans. The new track Amazing is set to be the song of the dance floors with a catchy beat, a brilliant dance floor smash to chase away the winter blues. The beat was produced by Tyler Smith of Tyler Smith Productions and features a 90s style piano mixed with an upbeat synth.
Bomber has always had a flare for music from such a young age. He grew up in North London with his Jamaican mother and his older siblings. Music was always playing and smooth reggae beats were definitely the catch of the day. At a young age when Bomber aka Kirk Edwards first got into MCing he used to attend MC battles and was even featured on ‘Heat FM.’
Bomber has been signed but the label he was signed to went into liquidation leaving him unsigned, but now he has a new management and a great team behind him to bring his music to the UK’s ears, this has been dubbed his year. October 2012 sees the release of the 3rd and 4th album by the UK Norwich based band All Mighty Whispers. The 2 self-released albums were recorded in the band's studio as well as "Leeders Farm", the Darkness' own recording studio on vintage equipment that was used to record "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. To mix the albums, the band flew as far as Poland to achieve the right sound. Songs from the 3rd album have already been critically acclaimed and have already been aired on National BBC radio as well as gracing many podcast and CD compilation. The boys are, literally, back in town (flying in from Finland, Norway and the US) to appear in a video by renowned film director Tony Klinger (Get Carter, Shout At The Devil, Deep Purple Over Japan, The Kids are Alright - The Who). The A list of rock's greatest are appearing in the promotional video for 'Honest' John Plain's single 'Never Listen To Rumours' are Michael Monroe and Sami Yaffa (Hanoi Rocks/New York Dolls) Martin Chambers (The Pretenders), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Casino Steel (The Boys, Johnny Cash, Carlene Carter), Darrell Bath (The Crybabys and Dogs D'Amour) and Verden Allen (Mott The Hoople).
35 years ago Honest John Plain, Matt Dangerfield and Casino Steel formed The Boys. The Boys quickly built up a reputation as a white hot live band and in January 1977 became the first punk band to sign an album deal with NEMS. Widely tipped to make it The Boys had a set of killer songs and were widely respected by both the music press and their peers. They quickly became known as the 'Beatles of Punk' and released four highly accredited albums and several hit singles before calling it a day in the Summer of 81. During their heyday in 1978/9 both Siobhan Fahay (later of Bananarama) and Hazel O'Connor ran The Boys' fan club. Plain went on to join the Dirty Strangers and recorded an album with Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood.
In the years since originally disbanding The Boys - Plain has been involved in various bands and continues to tour and release albums in Europe where The Boys have a massive fan base. Earlier in the year Plain went into Rockfield Studios and recorded a solo album with the musicians appearing in the video which will be released later in the year. The new single 'Never Listen To Rumours' is out now and available on iTunes and all good digital music retailers. The release of 'Never Listen To Rumours' is certain to enhance his reputation and increase his popularity even more.

Today, ALO Drink, a fast-growing aloe vera-based drink brand debuts two full-length music videos following the release of ALOtones, an album created in collaboration with Mikronesia featuring the music inside the drink's original flavors. Agency Magma, ALO's Agency of Record, helped to construct a real-life experiment on two acclaimed New York City Artists Sara Blake (ZSO) and Peter Hamlin (Hambot).
Each one-take, improvisational experiment was captured and edited to create music videos for both ALO's flagship flavor ALO Exposed, which contains the single, New Leaf. The second video, ALO Enrich also features its own track called Optimistic Bloom.

David Longoria's Instrumental Zoon Baloomba Enters Billboard Chart At #50, Is Chart's First Trumpet Hit Since 1979
David Longoria [davidlongoria.com], known for his innovative blend of Latin, Jazz and Dance music has achieved National Hit status with his new single Zoon Baloomba as it enters the Billboard Dance Music Charts October 6, 2012 at #50 with a bullet. This marks the first time a trumpet player has achieved success on this chart with an instrumental since Herb Alpert did it with Rise in 1979. Rise went on to reach #17 on that chart and reached #1 on the US Billboard Pop Chart in the following months. Part of the success of Rise was attributed to it being featured in the hit TV daytime TV soap General Hospital.
Longoria reached #14 on this chart in 2006 with his single Deeper Love (featuring singer Cece Peniston) but Longoria and Peniston sang together along with his trumpet work to create that hit. Zoon Baloomba is an instrumental song featuring Longoria's trademark trumpet embellished by some brief tribal vocals announcing the song's title.
The single Zoon Baloomba has been presented in several remixed versions including Club mixes from popular remixers Ralphi Rosario, Majik Boys, Mickey Oliver, Gustavo Scorpio, and Mental Blue. It debuts on the chart right behind K-Pop Dance mega Hit "Gangnam Style" by Korean singer PSY at #49.
The tracks are now available on iTunes, Amazon and other music sales outlets. It is currently playing in clubs across America with a much anticipated official music video scheduled for release in October. Longoria is known in Jazz and Latin Jazz circles as an exceptional musician, often considered one of the most exciting trumpeters of this generation. OKMusic.fm is dying to hear original tunes from unsigned artists for the site’s Halloween Song Contest. The contest is the first from OKMusic’s new series of monthly themed events designed to give undiscovered talent an opportunity for worldwide exposure.
OKMusic is looking for songs that capture the Halloween spirit and summons up the excitement and fun of the annual October holiday. The only rule* is that music entered be an original composition by the submitter. No resurrecting someone else’s moldy oldie and doing a cover, OKMusic wants fresh blood.
The outcome of the contest will be determined by the OKMusic community. The song that has the most likes by October 27 will be the declared the winner.
The winner will get exposure to the social network’s millions of visitors worldwide and be highlighted in the new front page OKMusic “Featured Artist” pane. Special treats will include a crystalline star trophy laser-etched with the artist/band’s name, OKMusic winner stickers the artist/band can use to promote themselves locally and a nationally distributed press release about the winning band and song.

My Secret Island is a project which has touched on a variety of musical worlds from the very beginning. The project first received public attention in 2010 with a limited EP called "The First Stories."
Featuring an iconic version of the classic "Riders on the Storm" by The Doors. The current single is called "I Miss The Day". Longing and hoping to one day meet the big love, which seems almost out of reach.
The single features three diverting, completely different versions of "I miss the Day". Included as special bonus is the catchy rock cover version of Tommy Roe's "Sheila", a number 1 hit from the 60s. MY SECRET ISLAND is extraordinarily unique.

When Jey Gibbs stepped foot on the stage of the legendary "Showtime at the Apollo," and opened his mouth, he was only 13, but he knew destiny was calling out to him. Singing since the age of four, the young artist was blessed with a gift that made the adults around him take note. So much so that even as a child he assisted his mom when she gave vocal lessons to the choir at his home church.
Today, the 24-year is cementing his talent with his debut independent single and video release of "Touch Yo Body." If "Showtime at the Apollo" was still taking auditions, its doubtful he would be boo'ed from the stage! Gibbs has a voice and style that naturally causes women to sway and swoon. With a dash of hip hop bravado; coupled with smooth R&B fever, Gibb's vocal approach is seasoned with special flavor. He gracefully exudes a lustful timbre, tempered with a vintage charm, that he calls "Da E-ffect." A gifted songwriter as well, with "Touch Yo Body," Gibbs seduces the ear while he cradles the heart with lyrics that unwind any semblance of resistance. Gibb's B-side release, "Shoulda Coulda Woulda," which he also composed, continues the lyrical seduction with an up tempo beat that bangs steady.
"I am happy to be able to finally throw my hat in the ring," reveals Gibbs. "It's taken a lot of hard word and sacrifice to bring my music to the table and I could not have done it alone. I am extremely grateful to the team I have around me. With these two songs, I'm singing to the women and I think with one listen, they will get the message loud and clear. I am an artist who is here for them." A Charleston, SC native, currently residing in Brooklyn, NY, Gibbs is a recent graduate of Long Island University with a bachelors in Media Arts. He hosts his own campus radio show, "Business with Jay."
Both "Touch Yo Body" and "Shoulda Coulda Woulda" were mixed and recorded at Harlem's popular Stadium Red Studios. When not singing and recording, Gibbs supplements his craft by working at La Guardia Airport as a Transportation Security Officer. Timbaland And Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon Co-Produce Missy Elliott's New Singles, "9th Inning" And "Triple Threat" In The Wake Of Her Up-And-Coming LP
Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon confirms co-production with Timbaland on Missy Elliott's latest singles, "Triple Threat" and "9th Inning."
Elliot told BET's 106 & Park, "This album is so crazy. People be like, 'Welcome back. We glad you back.' No. This will say we never left. There's nothing like it." J-Roc and Timbaland are slated to co-produce the entire album.
J-Roc commented in a recent interview that, "These singles are preludes to an eventful LP that delivers the missing ingredients of what Hip Hop is all about!"
Outside of guest spots for the likes of Katy Perry and J Cole, the new tracks are the first to emerge since the rapper's 2005 'The Cookbook.'
