(Dallas, TX – December 29, 2014) – The New Black 7, fresh off releasing their latest EP "God Willin' And The Creek Don't Rise" (Route 3 Records/Carson Entertainment) on December 9th and a slew of recent tour stops are set for what will their biggest audience yet as they will be featured during the New Year's Eve broadcast of Big D NYE celebration for Dallas, TX based WFAA-TV (ABC Affiliate). The band was chosen to take part in Big D NYE performing two tracks in-studio to be aired during the broadcast that will hit nearly 8 million homes in the region, 40,000 fans at the event – via Victory Plaza's big screens - and in over 30 additional markets in the U.S. It's a huge opportunity that will allow first time listeners a chance to hear their raucous country styling including the new single "Fine Wine" from the aforementioned "God Willin' And The Creek Don't Rise" EP. The New Black 7 was founded by lead vocalist/guitarist Tory Stoffregen and guitarist Jason K. Herman who were soon joined by drummer Brentt James Acrement and rounded out by bassist Dan Dryden. "God Willin' And The Creek Don't Rise" is a follow-up to 2012's "Heartbreaks And Hangovers", yielding the single "Crazy All Over Me", which garnered substantial radio and video play.

In addition to the BIG D NYE opportunity the band has landed an endorsement agreement with Monster Energy, the world's leading energy drink and lifestyle brand that makes The New Black 7 the FIRST country act brought on board by Monster Energy - a market that the brand is looking to expand into. This deal will further help the band establish itself and win the attention of new fans while allowing Monster Energy to reach a substantial demographic for their product and lifestyle features.

Palangi Meets Daughtry

NY Rock recording artist Frank Palangi gets ready this spring to work with Guitarist/Producer Brian Craddock from the Grammy award winning rock band Daughtry.

After meeting the band at a local acoustic show meet and greet, Frank made contact with Brian and soon after started developing plans to produce a single. An instant grit and tone surrounds Frank's deep voice molding him recognizable. At the core, he is a singer/songwriter pouring his heart and soul into lyrics based around life experiences. This single will grow his talent, sound and personality to another level.

This new rock single will be produced, recorded and mixed by Brian at the Cat Room in Charlottesville, VA. Mastering will be done by Grammy winner Brad Blackwood at Euphonic Masters, who's worked on countess rock legend albums. Frank has traveled mostly to Nashville, TN in the past where he got his start working with industry players. Fate stepped in catching the ears of Grammy nominated band “Day Of Fire” while attending a local club performance in 2010 in Clifton Park, NY. Few days later, their producer Rogers Masson made contact with Frank and soon began production on the debut “Frank Palangi EP” 2011. Producer Rob Coates and members from the christian band "Pillar" were involved on his 2nd "I Am Ready EP" release in 2013 which received an L.A Music Award Nomination for "Best Rock Single". It soon after led to Frank self producing two singles in 2014 "Falling Too, Hope".

Since then Frank has been on the raise as an emerging artist making waves on this own working toward his dreams. Sharing the stages across the North East U.S with national acts from 3 Doors Down, Aaron Lewis (Staind), Buckcherry, FUEL, TRAPT, Powerman 5000, Candlelight Red, Young Guns, HURT, HEDPE, Jess Malin (Former D-Generation singer) (to name some).
