Women of Substance Radio is an online radio station, started by Bree Noble in 2007, that plays the best music by female artists in all genres.

This week, starting Monday, December 29, 2014, tune in to Women of Substance Radio to hear bands like "Taking Back Eden." Taking Back Eden is an acoustic-rock group based out of the five-college town of Amherst, Massachusetts. The band is fronted by Carolyn Walker on vocals and violin, backed by Sylvie Abate on acoustic and classical guitars, Heather Sommerlad on violin and cello, Jen Spingla on bass and Christine Abate on full kit. With ties to folk, indie, rock, and classical music, Taking Back Eden is music with a message. Each women in Eden is a songwriter in her own right and together they spin thoughtful lyrics that address the environment, women’s issues, LGBT rights, animal rights, nature; and of course, love and relationships. Tune in today to hear the debut of Taking Back Eden’s new song “Even the Sun Must Rest.”
