Pete RG Announces 2016 Spring Tour Supporting Candlebox

"Full, resonant vocals delivering a dreamy landscape of straightforward heartfelt sentiment."
- Guitar World's Acoustic Nation

"Pete RG‘s post-rock sound packs enough power for him to be considered an arena rock contender while still remaining smooth and sophisticated."
- Diffuser

"Speckled with hints of Neil Diamond, Leonard Cohen and Matt Berninger, RG is blessed to have a voice so unique, so enchanting and so captivating. It is that voice and its intrinsic charisma that will carry RG forward in the months and years to come."
- Absolute Punk

Los Angeles, CA (March 10, 2016) - Pete RG will be supporting Candlebox on their 2016 Disappearing From Airports tour, which kicks off April 1st in Louisville, KY. His backing band will feature multi-instrumentalist/co-producer Brina Kabler, bassist Adam Kury, guitarist Kevin Haaland and drummer Dave Krusen (an original member of Pearl Jam).

RG will be promoting his latest work, Reaching For The Moon, which was released on October 9, 2015 via his 4L Entertainment imprint. RG will also be debuting songs from his forthcoming album, Sentimental Fools, scheduled to come out in July 2016.

The singer-songwriter delivers a rustic yet soulful sound throughout the five song EP as he sings about celebrating the splendors of life. Such a message of rejoicing life is fully captured on "Divine", the EP's first single. "The song's about making the most of every moment we're given," describes RG. "It's about focusing on what we have and need as opposed to chasing our wants, because life is simply too short and beautiful."

Reaching For The Moon marks RG's follow up to the acclaimed Lightning Strikes EP, released in the spring of 2015. Once again recording in his personal Santa Monica studio, RG collaborated heavily Kabler, Kury, Haaland and Krusen after touring the better part of the year together.

"Lightning Strikes was recorded over the course of the year, making the recording process less organic since we were in and out of the studio numerous times," explains RG. "When we began recording Reaching For The Moon, we were fresh off the road and restless to get into the studio. I was determined to work at a faster pace to maintain the band's momentum."

Getting his start in music as the frontman of L.A. indie pop/Americana outfit Last December, RG wasted no time finding his own voice as a solo artist, starting with his debut full-length New Eyes in 2013. However, Pete RG's solo efforts have proven to be an even stronger collaborative effort. "I wanted Last December to capture all the feelings and subtleties that I felt when I played the songs by myself," recalls RG. "Now, I want to reveal as little as possible about myself while working with a band. It's a much more fun and rewarding process than the earlier days."

Xsidion Balances Musical Chaos With Second EP 'Behind The Mask'

Electronic music DJ and producer Xsidion has released his sophomore EP Behind the Mask. Transcending the eclecticism of his debut Anarchy, Behind the Mask delivers a more synergetic musical chaos. It further proves Xsidion's ability to brilliantly parallel and superpose opposing genres. The EP is available here: https://blr.lnk.to/btm

His penchant for classical music colours the entire album with smooth synths and piano riffs, but also includes Xsidion's trademark disorderly style pushing through. Xsidion recently released a new track, 'Jullaby', leading to the EP, which introduced a soft but striking progressive house approach, abandoning the apocalyptic atmosphere he created in his debut EP Anarchy. The mellow yet mighty track 'Paradox' cultivates trance vibes to the greatest effect, though disturbed by underlying melancholy. Overall, Behind the Mask proves that Xsidion is an artist who knows his niche yet never fails to redesign the box.

Xsidion is a DJ and producer based in Las Vegas, whose musical stylings cover electro, house, hip-hop, trap, dubstep and more. He's opened for the likes of Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris in Las Vegas, as well as several other local DJs.

He also has produced the Trap hits "Grimey Thirsty" and "Angels X Demons", both of which have been featured many times on "Diplo's BBC Radio 1Xtra Mixes." It's Time To Raise A Glass & 'Drink' For St. Patrick's Day, With Celebratory Single From Ayhan Sahin's Album 'Pop'

St. Patrick's Day is all about celebrating with a glass raised to the joys of life, love, family and all good things. Who needs a parade to step in line for the best of times, given the release of joyous new single "Drink," from the upcoming album "Pop," the first full-length namesake collection from songwriter & producer Ayhan Sahin, released by his indie label Young Pals Music. Vocals in "Drink" are commandeered by veteran New York City-based singer & musician Denny Blake, whose credits include metal band Helix and the Billy Joel Broadway musical "Movin' Out."

The album "Pop" features 12+ diverse vocalists & musicians across a myriad of styles, including R&B & soul, dance, jazz, country and of course... pop. All songs are co-written and co-produced by Sahin with hit songwriter Bernadette O'Reilly, who has also worked for three decades in artist relations, management and song placement.

"Drink" offers a nod to all things worth celebrating, as Blake sings, "Five o clock, the weekend's here and I got a little plan, free the next 48 hours... Time to get back what I give/Drink to the ones you love, to your god above, Drink to a better way, to a summer day/Drink to the milkman, to the one-night stand, to the cabbies, your sugar daddy, drink to St. Paddy..."

In addition, the song features a rap shout-out to a roster of beloved New York City haunts worth raising a glass to—including the likes of Jake's Tavern, Raccoon Lodge, Otto's Shrunken Head, One Fish Two Fish, Planet Rose, 40/40 Club, Coney Island High, Tally Ho, Jimmy's Corner and the West Village's Ty's. No, it's not Fetty Wap delivering the flow: It's none other than co-writer O'Reilly.

Add to the global reach of "Drink" a third songwriting credit—alongside Sahin and O'Reilly—from Turkey's most-acclaimed female singer/songwriter Sezen Aksu. She descended upon New York City in 2006 to record a dozen songs, while embracing multiple songwriting sessions... including "Drink." In her native Turkey, Aksu is known as "the mother of all Turkish pop stars." Yes, she is the Madonna of the nation.

The track is already gaining views on YouTube with a lyric video for "Drink" launched at the beginning of the month. An official video release will be celebrated before St. Patrick's via an extravagant collective of footage from around the world collected from fans singing along to the song in bars, taverns and all other festive locations. The song is available for purchase on iTunes.

The album "Pop" is the first namesake project for Turkish-born songwriter & producer Ayhan Sahin. Sahin has achieved notoriety in a range of musical genres, from pop, rock and dance to musical theater. In 2015, he co-wrote and produced the debut album for Mexican superstar & Broadway veteran Bianca Marroquín. "El Mundo Era Mio" was featured in a live segment and performance from New York City on Univision's top-rated morning show "Despierta America", while garnering record sales on iTunes.

Sahin has also worked with Olivia Newton-John, Melba Moore, Phoebe Snow, Turkish superstars Sezen Aksu and Sertab Erener, Sandra Bernhard and five "American Idol" finalists. His music has been featured on CNN, The Los Angeles Times, Playbill, MTV, Yahoo! Music and "The Wendy Williams Show"; and heralded by USA Today, New York magazine, MTV and The New York Daily News.

All instrumentation for "Pop" was recorded live with renowned New York musicians, including Dan Delvecchio on guitars, synth & keyboards from Rob Preuss, Mike Sorrentino on drums, and Carras Paton on bass. It was mixed by Sahin and mastered by Greg Calbi of Sterling Sound.
