Booty Kamp Brand To Launch In 2013

The infectious, hook laden mass appeal of Booty Kamp is set to take Europe by storm. Produced by Chill Will (Formerly known as Willie Wilcox) Booty Kamp launches an all out assault with radio friendly, pop dance club bangers driven by the Iconic and timeless "Betty Boop." The first single features New York rap artist Nemesis.

"Booty Kamp," Willie's latest musical fantasy is unadulterated party pop dance music fun at it's best. "Booty Kamp is all about having a good time," says Wilcox. "I have always been in love with pop radio loaded with hooky melodies and infectious grooves. I launched Booty Kamp as an outlet to express this pop side of myself that has always been at the core of my soul." With the recent popularity of EDM hitting the pop music charts the timing couldn't be more perfect.

Willie chose the thematic material of Betty Boop as the Launchpad for his first single release. "Betty is Iconic and timeless," says Wilcox. "I love the idea of mixing the musical ideas and sounds from the 20's and 30's and melding them with todays dance club sounds and beats. Betty is so visual and loved by all."

Willie is currently the senior audio director at Bally Technologies in Las Vegas. A Fortune 500 Company with a worldwide presence. "I bring my real-world experience to the process, borrow from the past in terms of how I make music for records, and try to assimilate my ideas into what the company needs for its slots."

What the company needed was a Michael Jackson game, and Wilcox delivered the audio sound design, edits and surround mixes, spending a year developing it."

Using all the original stem tracks from Michael's records; "Bad," "Beat It," "Billy Jean," "Smooth Criminal," & "Dirty Diana," supplied by the record label, Willie remixed the tracks-not in stereo, but a true, original, surround-sound mix that took into account all the separate elements of each of the game's five tracks.

And the result is stunning. Bally's Michael Jackson King of Pop slot machine & game chair (which Willie also helped to design) debuted and wowed the crowds at the Global Gaming Expo this fall in Las Vegas. It offers the rush of pleasure that comes with being engulfed in cinema digital surround sound.

Booty Kamp will make it's 2013 debut in Cannes, France at this years 2013 Midem convention.

Industry veteran Glenn Friedman of "The Music Umbrella," will be representing the Booty Kamp brand.

Tony Maserati Vies For 1st GRAMMY Win For Jason Mraz "Love" Album Best Eng Album Non-Classical Nom

Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas and Christina Aguilera turn to Tony Maserati for his sound advice. Multiple nominee Tony Maserati and GRAMMY-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli, are current GRAMMY Award nominees for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, for Jason Mraz's stellar album "Love is a Four Letter Word."

This is Maserati's fourth nomination and would be his first GRAMMY win.

"It's incredibly rewarding to be recognized by my peers. To be involved in a musical collaboration with the likes of Jason (Mraz) and Joe (Chiccarelli) was thrill enough, honestly, but this goes beyond my wildest dreams," said Maserati. "Winning a GRAMMY is the ultimate achievement. It would be an incredible acknowledgement of all of the hard work that has gone into making music that connects with people."

Maserati implements what he calls a hybrid system of mixing. Analogue summing, plenty of vintage compressors and eq's, but automating the mix within the Pro-Tools system. In the case of "Love," he wanted a vintage sound that could compete in an MP3, earbud world. His hope was to get the impact of how dynamic Jason performs a lyric while still sounding in sync with his contemporaries.

"This is the second record I've made with Jason, and it抯 always a collaborative process. For 'Love,' I went to the studio while they were finishing the recordings. I listened, I watched them, and chatted about their approach and direction," said Maserati. "Joe gave me references to a couple 70s records by Paul Simon and Elton John. I also did some listening to David Bowie and Billy Joel once I really understood the vibe Jason wanted. The end result here is more modern, but the attitude of that period can be felt and heard throughout, which is one of the outcomes of this collaboration that I really love and am most proud of."

"Tony's first class. His mixes compliment the songs because the are upfront, direct with very little trickery," said Joe Chiccarelli, producer. "High Fidelity but never lacking emotion or character, the mixes tell the story of the song while keeping Jason抯 performance and songwriting talents front and center.

The GRAMMY-nominated team for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for Jason Mraz's "Love is a Four Letter Word" includes Tony Maserati & Joe Chiccarelli Steve Churchyard, Lars Fox, Graham Hope, Morgan Stratt & Bob Ludwig (mastering)

When asked what it would be like to finally bring home GRAMMY gold, Maserati simply replied: "Music to my ears!"

Giovannie Pierre-Louise's Inspirational Song "Reaching For The Stars"

The new single and video, "Reaching For The Stars", from Giovannie Pierre-Louise, known professionally as Gio, is a slow tempo number that is beautifully inspirational, encouraging, and reaches its goal of being serene, with soft but lyrically strong vocals connecting well with listeners. Fans of any music genre will be easily able to get into this song, because it has a style that simply defies categorization. In the video, Gio is sitting on a beautiful cloud, singing and reaching for her star. If she keeps producing songs like this, it's definitely not far out of reach.

One's inspiration doesn't always have to come from somewhere else; if you don't look too far you'll see it within. From Gio, "as a child I always imagined that I was in this land of make believe, with this ever lasting beauty and always used this hairbrush as my microphone. I looked up to the ceiling as if it was beautiful stars while I was singing in my own imaginary world." That was what inspired her to do this song and video, the scene just as she imagined, by herself in the snow.

CD release - "He's Always There"

Luton based contemporary christian singer/songwriter Annie Woode has released her second album. The album is called "He's Always There".

Her Music style can best be described as thought provoking, contemporary christian music. It has an integrated Pop/R&B sound to it, with a soft lyrical vibe. Her choral background is often apparent in the arrangements.

Album Notes

There are 14 songs on the album. She says she called this Album "He's Always There", because a lot of the songs reflect on the idea of God's staying love. Some of the tracks have a pop feel. Some have a more gospel feel. Two are inspired from psalms 47 and 103 and a couple are just ballad style love songs.

The album is available on CD baby and iTunes.

MusicDishTV Presents "Rumbadoodle" By Grammy-nominated Arun Shenoy

Rumbadoodle is the title track of the GRAMMY-nominated full length studio album of Arun, exploring a bold new perspective of the gypsy rumba flamenco, combining elements of the traditional art form with a myriad of popular music forms. Recorded almost entirely live across the Globe, this record is an explorative journey, doodling across genre boundaries as we know it today, creating a unique and true masterpiece along the way.

Arun Shenoy commented on the video: "Probably inspired by what I had seen from Pink Floyd's "Pulse" I would assume to some extent. This component involved working with art director Roshni Mohapatra and the team at animation specialty house, Actuality Films in New York led by creative director Robert Capria. This led to very detailed and intricate artwork representative of each track on the album. The Afro-Cuban influence extends to the main album artwork as well. The 1950s American car on the cover is iconic of Cuba, a country cut off from the outside world after the Cuban Missile Crisis. The illustration plays like a black and white photograph and one splash of symbolic color - blue, the most characteristic of the sky, doors and cars in Havana. And the video also follows along the same vibe." http://www.arunshenoy.com

MusicDishTV Presents "Dance With You" By Jazz-Pop Duo Miss 600

UK Based jazz-pop duo Miss 600 recently released their new video, "Dance With You". Nothing but listening with your own two ears will do this song justice. The beat is an up tempo cut that has plenty of spunk, passion and a powerhouse vocal performance from Miss 600, which includes singer-songwriter Hannah Garner and multi-instrumentalist David Amar. This is feel good music at its best! In many ways, Garner's vocal style reminds me of Beyonce, and yet it remains extraordinarily unique. This lady doesn't fit into anyone's shadow or mold. The music has a full orchestra sound, with horns and an arrangement that just doesn't quit! Amar also shows his prowess, flexing his musical muscles, and believe me, he's much more Superman in that respect than he is Clark Kent. You just can't listen to this without it impacting your mood. The duo is on a supersonic flight to stardom, and as a reviewer, I have to say that "this is a pair of artists to keep your eye on." Whether you've ever heard of them before or not, you will without a doubt find them on your radar, probably sooner than later. One can tell easily that they enjoy what they're doing, and when you have that along with the cohesiveness and brilliance the team exudes, along with raw talent and songs that transport and allow you to feel like you're at a show instead of just listening to a record, that's a winning combination.
