Back in 2000, singer Liang Long and suona (a wind instrument) player Wu Zekun burst onto Beijing's underground music scene with a performance style that's part cabaret, part Chinese theater, and part rock 'n' roll dance party. The band eventually filled out to a six-piece and set itself apart from its peers with live shows that have something in common with the tongue-in-cheek provocation of bands like the New York Dolls and the Japanese style of Visual Kei. LA-based Hip-Hip Producer Joseph Dancsak Releases New And-1 EP

And-1 is the first official artistic release from Los Angeles-based music producer Joseph Dancsak, exclusively on iTunes today.

Dancsak has made waves in the Trap music world, being featured as one of the Top 5 Producers for Power 106FM's "Who's Next" Competition this year. He was also selected as a featured Producer for the 2014 ASCAP EXPO's Producer Showcase. He continues to place in the top 30 in regular Beatportmix competitions, includingplacing 3rd for the Ralph Myerz & Snoop Dogg's "Do the Damn Thang", 20th for Flosstradamus' "Mosh Pit", and 33rd for Tegan & Sara's, "Closer" remixes, respectively.

This is Dancsak's first official release working under the artist moniker, JDVisionquest3000. Dancsak chose to feature 23-year-old Los Angeles rapper, L-1, throughout the entire six track EP that features a variety of hip hop and electronic styles.

The EP is available exclusively on iTunes beginning September 23, 2014 and everywhere digital music is sold on October 7, 2014.

About the "And-1" EP

The first track, "Flow So Cold", is a mix of hip hop, trap and frenetic dance elements that enigmatically races to a climax before the drop at each chorus. Riney raps about looking for the party and reminds us that "...the condition here is a cardiac."

"Obnoxious", the second track, is a song inspired equally by both Lloyd Banks and Paul's Boutique era Beastie Boys. Dancsak's production has the beat swimming in a pool of hypnotic trap.

Featuring backwards tape machine sounds and a kick drum inspired by the rash of earthquakes Los Angeles has been having lately, "Digital Smoke" is a banging rap record with a futuristic nod to smoking out.

"Murder, Murder, Murder." is a boombap, Cypress Hill-styled organic hip hop jam where Riney raps about the murderous tale of Buddy Hutchins, a man out to get his revenge with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a chainsaw. This track explores a unique use of horns, pianos, funk guitars and live bass, all of which are performed by Dancsak.

Inspired by a group of Midwestern women who smoke too much weed, "Chopped" is a club style rap song with a big bottom end. Riney raps about about rolling up blunts and getting dumbdideedumb.

Finally, "Everybody Rock The Party" sees Dancsak and Riney taking the record full circle back to electro dance and eventually, all out EDM. Dancsak mixes Swedish and Dutch sounds, giving Riney a poetic forum for praising the ladies at the club, and turns Riney's vocal into something akin to a party-hopping alien robot during the chorus.

The And-1 EP will be available through Symphonic Distribution exclusively on iTunes starting September 23, 2014 and everywhere music is available online starting October 7th.

Formed initially in 2010 by guitarist/vocalist Tory Stoffregen and drummer Brentt Arcement, they released the Ep The Old Becomes The New, a blend of roots country, blues, rock and fireside ballads. Soon thereafter guitarist Jason K. Herman joined the ranks helping to solidify the band’s centerpiece and give their dueling guitar harmonies a rock-oriented approach. Already a seasoned live band as all three players had logged in the years with touring rock acts, and it was time to put that experience into a new set of tracks for their debut album Hangovers & Heartbreak (Vanity Music, 2013). Produced by Stoffregen and mixed by noted engineer Cedrick Courtois (Beyonce, Destiny’s Child), The New Black Seven took their modern approach to country testimonials to another level led by the raucous single, “Crazy All Over Me”, a tale of love gone way, way wrong. Filled with big guitars and big choruses, the track caught the attention of regional radio leading the way for other tracks like “That Don’t Sound Country”, homage to the deep musical roots that Jason Aldean could cut his teeth on. Not ones to just look for the good times, “Fly Me To Freedom” found the band utilizing slide, piano and violins to anchor themselves to Stoffregen’s tender baritone ballad about time passing and letting go. The band’s evident rock side came shining thru on “Outlaw” a dirty road number custom made for pool halls and arenas alike, while the straight between the eyes “Can’t Go Home” is pure Lynyrd Skynrd, tough soul with a heart of gold. In addition, the band turned the Motley Crue classic “Kickstart My Heart” on its head, giving it some major country horsepower. Guitarist Jason K.Herman explains, “The H&H sessions were a real pivotal point in the New Black Seven. Especially for me being the new man in the song-writing circle. It was so easy to write with these two guys and the musicianship of being able to play multiple-instruments made us expand on so many ideas, it was a great launching point for where we¹re at today”

Continuous gigging in support of Hangovers & Heartbreak ensued as well as showcases at NAMM and shared bills with everyone from Rick Springfield and Tesla to Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood proving that they can take the stage with any act that shares in their love for big melodies and timeless sounds.

The band currently finds itself in the studio preparing their 3rd release God Willin’ And The Creek Don’t Rise on their own Route 3 Records at the Shell Rock, Iowa studios of co-producer Wade Goeke (owner of Chandler Limited) with tracking near completion and the band setting up for 4th quarter release. The album will be a continuation of the band’s sounds thus far: rowdy country, melodic rock influence and open-hearted moments that will help solidify the band’s commitment to deliver a record that will have something for everyone while allowing them to share the stage with a broad cross-section of acts. “Fine Wine” is an indication of their classic rock meets modern country melding. A video for the track will begin pre-production the week of September 15th with Luminary Creative taking the reins.

“Our live show continues to evolve with every show. We spent a lot of the year writing, and peppering in shows where they fit. Now with 3 albums in the bucket, we¹re ready to go out and give people one hell of a show” remarks Herman. I think our songs fit into every spectrum. Story/Song is a new comic book series from Paper + Plastick Records. It combines one song from a band and a comic book inspired by that song.

Drox unveils brand new electronic house dance mix 'Peace of Mind', featuring the all-female rock band JOANovARC

Drox, rapper/DJ and music producer, unveils his brand new electronic house dance mix 'Peace of Mind', featuring the all-female rock band JOANovARC. The remix is released via Helicopta Records is released on the 20th October 2014.

Newcastle based Drox, is the in-house producer at Helicopta Records, and has produced club hits featuring Eva Alordiah, eLDee, Stampie Major, Jasmine and Sojay, and racked up four consecutive weeks in the Music Week top ten urban charts.

JOANovARC is a female rock band from the Midlands, and the first all-female UK rock band to have their songs featured on the multi-platform mega game, Rock Band, for the Xbox 360. The band was also recently supported by the world's premier manufacturer of musical instruments, Gibson.

The collaboration brings together unique influences and yields a fusion of styles from Drox's deep house, early German techno and Arabic textures and themes, to JOANovARC's rock, indie and melodic vibes. The two artists also collaborated on their previous release, 'Falling Star', which received support from dance legend DJ, Annie Nightingale MBE, and was played on her BBC Radio 1 radio show.
