Pointe Blank formed nearly a decade ago in 2003. After a two year break and two line up changes, the group has re-emerged with new members and their 3rd full length release, Abstraction.



Drawing comparisons to legendary female fronted rock acts such as The Pretenders, Pointe Blanks members include: Nicole Sweet - Lead Vocal/ Piano , Chris Sweet - Lead guitar/ Vocals , Elle Cournoyer - Keys/ vocal, John Walsh 'Bub' - Bass, Dan Jaquith - Guitar and Chris Dowhan 'CJ' - Drums.



By honing a mix of introspective pop and anthemic rock, the sextet has catapulted itself onto stages in other continents including Australia, where they played to crowds of over 10,000. They have also at one of Atlanta's largest venues, Cobb Center and have shared the stage with Mainstream Christian Alternative Rockers, EleventySeven and Mainstay.



Their newest release, "Abstraction" combines pop sensibilities with alt-rock chords and dance-infused beats. They consider it to be their greatest musical accomplishment to date. Niva The Soul Diva 2013 Release Motivational Anti Violence Music

Independent R&B Rock n Soul artist Niva the Soul Diva has released her first new track and music video for 2013.



The track is an inspirational and motivational song called 'Stop the Violence', an attempt to bring awareness to rampant gun violence in urban communities in cities where youth have a culture of guns and violence. The song features Spoken word HipHop poet Kamal Supreme and guitarist Johnny Guitar Watson jr who adds rock flavor to many of niva's tracks. According to Niva she originally wrote the song when she was in her hometown of Houston Texas before she came to new york city to pursue her dream of being a recording artist and performer. Harmony & Groove Releases Sensational Debut Album, Bringing Down The Mercury!

Canadian recording artist Harmony & Groove releases a debut album of R&B / Pop and blue-eyed soul brimming with sweaty funk grooves, glistening pop hooks and soulful harmonies!



It was a cold winter's night in 2009 when Canadian singer/songwriter Jeffrey Carl decided to dig through an old box of cassettes containing songs he had written over a period of many years. Although he had settled into a career far removed from music, the songs he rediscovered awakened his dormant creativity. With renewed drive and determination, he wrote and recorded a masterful debut album over the next 2 1/2 years. Working under the name Harmony & Groove, the brilliant result, Bringing Down The Mercury, brims with sweaty funk grooves, glistening pop hooks, soulful harmonies, and witty wordplay.



Bringing Down The Mercury is a culmination of a lifelong journey of discovering and developing an aesthetic. It's the "artist's way" channeled into music. "I grew up in the smallest of Canada's provinces, an island in fact, but for some reason, local radio there was totally connected to the latest sounds coming out of the US and the UK. Despite the popular music I followed in the 80's and 90's, I felt compelled to return to the soul, funk and R&B I had heard on the radio as a kid." Jeffrey Carl reveals.



Back in the day, soul and groove monsters like Earth, Wind, & Fire, The Temptations, Parliament, Sly & The Family Stone, and The Commodores were Top 40. From there Jeffrey Carl kept on exploring pop, but found the music that followed those heady times less enduring. With his debut album, he has circled back to the music that first moved him, but freshens the vibe with influences from contemporary artists like Jamiroquai, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Adele and Lenny Kravitz.



Jeffrey Carl's insightful wit is perfectly captured in "App For That", a straight up parody of the now ubiquitous phrase, "there's an app for that". With lines like "lost your wife and job and dog and really need a break, there's an app for that, there's an app for that", he pokes fun at the notion that an "app" is all you need to solve all your problems.



The title track recalls the street level, state-of-the-union, urban angst of classic tracks by The Temptations like "War" and "Ball of Confusion". Jeffrey Carl masterfully layers smooth harmonies with funky grooves, punctuated with acoustic guitar and a driving piano motif. His talent for tight arrangement and counter-melody is evident. The vocal harmonies are nothing less than glistening, chrome and memorable.



The swanky standout, "On the Fly Melody" is a luxuriously soulful, old school funk number, adorned with plush strings and punchy horns. "That song was written literally 'on the fly', in about 30 minutes", Jeffrey recalls. "That's the great thing about music. It can be completely spontaneous, and when you're a songwriter, those spontaneous ideas become great songs."



The simmering "Miss You Blues" epitomizes the album's pensive side. It's a deeply personal song about marriage and maintaining love and tenderness within the blur of everyday life. "All couples go through a time when they struggle to live well together and understand themselves intimately, accept each other's faults, and celebrate each other's strengths" Jeffery explains. The track is elegantly adorned with a

soaring gospel bridge that lends hope to a weighty topic.



Jeffrey began recording Bringing Down The Mercury in 2010 with producer and musician Norm Glaude, a veteran of the Ottawa jazz scene. The album's production approach is innovative, by blending the organic flow of live instrumentation with virtual instruments. There is a skillful interplay between the warmth of classic funk and soul, and the sleekness of contemporary pop and R&B. "Norm is a jazz producer, so he brought a live, organic sound to the production. Because of his background, he was able to listen to my initial arrangements and suggest subtle changes that really made a difference to the overall impact of the songs. We wanted to stretch the expressiveness of virtual instruments as far as we could. I think we nailed it!" Jeffrey

In celebration of The Rolling Stones� 50th Anniversary, Hollywood newcomer PROJECT Gallery presents: 50 Years of The Rolling Stones: A Rock and Roll Retrospective featuring rare, intimate and never-before seen photos of the Stones. Renowned and legendary photographers Ken Regan, Philip Townsend, Barrie Wentzell, Neal Preston, Lynn Goldsmith and others who photographed the group throughout their career will be prominently featured. This unique exhibition depicts one of the worlds� most notorious and beloved acts and visually weaves much of the story of their incredible 50-year career.



Included are Philip Townsend抯 early images of a young, boyish-looking group photographed along the banks of the Thames, legendary and iconic live shots by Barrie Wentzell; intimate behind-the scenes moments by Ken Regan (including their famous El Mocambo show in 1977); live shots from The Forum and other renowned venues by the acclaimed Neal Preston and present-day portraits by icon Lynn Goldsmith. 50 Years of The Rolling Stones: A Rock and Roll Retrospective opened with great success at Toronto抯 premier rock and roll gallery, Analogue, and this its first debut within the US. This comprehensive exhibit is a very grand, rare and special tribute to The Stones. At the March 28 opening celebration, PROJECT Gallery is honored to host legendary photographers Neal Preston and Barrie Wentzell as they recant and recall the intimate, unique and legendary stories behind their photos adorning the walls.



Limited edition prints of all sizes will be for sale as well as books, t-shirts and other memorabilia.



A beautifully designed gallery newcomer, PROJECT Gallery is a cultural destination for the Hollywood Arts community. CeddyBu The Rap Sumo Receives Worldwide Non-Exclusive License Agreement

Cedrick Smith a/k/a CeddyBu The Rap Sumo is recieving a worldwide non-exclusive license agreement with FishBowl Worldwide Media for the use of his very popular youtube videos.



Under the terms of the deal, FishBowl Worldwide will showcase select video clips of CeddyBu on some of its upcoming shows most recently (Upload with Shaq) and online properties.



The two did not disclose terms of the agreement. Peppy Johnson, CeddyBu's business manager said we are very excited to be working with FishBowl Media Worldwide on the license agreement with CeddyBu.



The 22 year old Louisianna self proclaimed "Mr Worldstarhiphop.com whose video has been featured on Fuse.Tv Worldstarhiphop.com and TruTv caught the attention of Executive producers from FishBowl Worldwide Media and Heavyweight Indie Label out of Louisianna Ruff N Rugged Entertainment for his So Icy video and freestyles which has garned over a million youtube views.



CeddyBu made his national debut while being featured on hit single "Macho Man" with label mate Delwin The Krazy Man and Maybach Music Group recent signee DJ Hollywood Bey Bey. New Joe DeVita Release "The Antihero" Mixes Sordid Wit With Funky Grooves

In the year of 1978, George Clinton and Frank Zappa had a love child named Joe DeVita. Ashamed of the controversy surrounding this unusual conception, both parents shipped little Joey off to Queens hoping to cleanse their hands of the whole affair.



Little did they know that one day their little bastard child would grow up to create an album morphing the hard hitting gooves of Funkadelic and the satiracle wit of Zappa.



The album in question is called "The Antihero". This veritably apocolyptic album features wailing guitars, tales of Underwater Crabs attempting to enslave the human race, shoe rapists, tales of sexual frustration and last but not least, Spanish transvestites.



As scary as this sordid amalgamation is, you must know that this is just the tip of the ice berg. We are not able to divulge all of the information in regards to this album. You will have to wait until April 29, 2013 to find out the rest. However, we can promise that you will laugh. You may cry. You make puke. You may laugh or cry while puking. You may be so out of sorts that you will eat your own puke while crying. Five years from now you may look back on yourself crying while puking and laugh. That is the power of this album.
