Stuck With Green Announces The Immediate Release For The New Remix Of The Pimp Slap Song

The Pimp Slap Song is comedy satire. The lyrics might be offensive to some, but that is not the artist's intention. "I'm not endorsing violent behavior," Ron explains. "It's meant to be in good fun. I read somewhere that Johnny Depp once said and forgive the paraphrase, 'If there's not a little truth in it, then it wouldn't be acting. It would just be lying'."

The new remix is a collaboration of work between songwriter/producer Ron Potter and lead producer Nathaniel Jones of Archive Productions. Ron is the lead vocalist for The Pimp Slap Song.

Stuck With Green is Ron's artistic alias for his satirical work. He describes the material as experimental electronic with an edge. "The world needs another Frank Zappa," exclaims songwriter H Jay Carney. "And I wish to officially nominate you!"

The Pimp Slap Song will soon have its own music video too! So expect more of Ron's unique comedy sense. Connect with Ron and stay updated for this bizarre yet captivating brand of music entertainment. Follow the link provided in this press release for a free download of The Pimp Slap Song remix! It's available for free now, but only for a limited time.

TRASH A GOGO With Paralyz Halloween Special!

G A conflagration of proportions unimagined,
Distortion, Reverb, Echo, and Gain,
Concrete noise engulfs, the synapse petrified,
Forest of patched body-casts talking sunshine,
And breathing fire,
...And sweating puss,
And punishing liars,
And grinding rust,
A crunch of gravel engulfed in a palm,
Encroached upon by a fist comes long,
Upwards to the face of God, Boss, and Man,
Past the bodies clenched together but still a,
Man apart a man a part a man a part,
Of the cell,
And as the arm reaches its summit,
It speaks for the eyes, hips, and toes,
The unlikely and indomitable: ¡°TRASH A GO-GO!¡±

TRASH A GO-GO, a monthly multi-night shit-show featuring all things punk, garage, surf, and other vintages and vestiges of rock n' roll, is now featuring:

OCTOBER 29, 2010 C @ YUYINTANG C THE PARALYZ w/ THE BEAT BANDITS, THE INSTIGATION C Door Cover: 40 RMB

*OCTOBER 30, 2010 C @ LOgO C THE PARALYZ w/ THE BEAT BANDITS, FRIEND OR FOE, THE DUDETTES, DJ B.O and more surprise? C Door Cover: FREE C *HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY!

The Paralyz C Newswire, from Japan: PARALYZ IS HORROR!!! PARALYZ IS TERROR!!! You will find an unknown Japanese spectacle. Let's take off on a wave of sound from another dimension. Be an alien with me! We are THE PARALYZ!

The Beat Bandits: With a foot in the ass-shaking surf-swing of Dick Dale and The Champs, the Beat Bandits allows listeners to hang-ten over bouncy baselines and jumpy keyboards until...until....CRASH! Misuzu's Tsunami-sized guitar roars waves at the audience like a long-lost Godzilla villain. You're caught in the middle as these two sides duel it out, leaving the listener to pogo and twist with equal zeal.

The Instigation: Crack Babies. That's all that I could verbalize after witnessing, nee, experiencing, the last Instigation show: Crack Babies. It's in the chorus to one of the songs the lead singer of this sloppy-punk gang belched out. A testament to the DIY spirit of rock and roll, and lots of beer, The Instigation is rock and roll not for the bleat-hearted.

The Dudettes: This is the Shanghai ex-pat blues sung by swanky vaudevillians and for the the hip and chic, young and fun. If you ever thought to yourself ¡°I need to ting at the loukou¡± this is your brand/band. 11 parts contagious, 12 parts outrageous (out of 10), don't get high, get Shanghai.

DJ B.O: He rebels against people who DJ because they are afraid to dance in public. He will sing and dance to provoke movement. He is somewhere between vaudeville and Warhol. Featuring vintage-hits and forgotten favorites, he thinks dance music is for pussies but The Shanghri-Las are fucking artists, man. Tech? NO.

Tony Adamo's Exuberant Jazzy Take On Tower Of Power's Funk Classic

Adamo and his producer/guitarist Jerry Stucker take Tower of Power's classic funk number and give it a more sinewy vibe, elasticizing the vocals and the bass, while crackling up the song's more timpanic elements. This exuberantly self-assured remake recalls the Acid Jazz insouciance of the early 90s while harkening back to the Big Band era and the Vegas-y stylings of suave masters of self-confidence such as Tom Jones and Al Jarreau. Adamo has a brash self-assuredness and a sense of showmanship that's neither unearned nor in your face. You can almost picture him taking a drag from an unfiltered or sipping from a martini in between some of his spoken-word lines. And the arrangements are crisp, solid and spicy--punctuating Adamo's vocals and his been-there sung-that attitude.

Digital Music NY, a monthly music business networking event series, will open the showcase with a free drink special courtesy of DonQ Rum.

As an international artist and a trilingual songwriter, Maya Solovey has merged the acoustic/folk songwriting tradition into the territories of pop, bossa nova, and even the high drama of cinematic scoring. Her music is a surprising, yet rational marriage between many cultures as she sings in Portuguese, Spanish and her native English tongue. Her new self-titled album, Maya Solovey, released July 15th, has already gathered notice from journalists and music critics. Her song "Eu Vi" was featured in a Ralph Lauren runway video for winter fashion week, while her song "Como Yo Lloro Por Ti" will be featured on a in a FIFA World Cup compilation, and another 3 songs will be featured in an upcoming shark documentary called "Shark Allies". Tom Moon, on air critic for NPR, and journalist for Rolling Stone and Spin Magazine said, "Here's a rarity: An original voice who really is original! Drawing inspiration from all over the map, Maya Solovey has developed a deep, enchanting sound that's unlike anything else out there right now."
