Missing Link Music Signs Worldwide Deal With Lady Gaga Drummer George "Spanky" McCurdy

George “Spanky” McCurdy has just signed an exclusive worldwide administration deal with Missing Link Music. Philadelphia-born drummer Spanky started generating an impressive roster of credits at a very young age.

By the age of 13, he was known for his unique and innovative style of drumming. During this time, Spanky started playing with several local acts, and by the age of 20 he landed a gig with gospel phenomenon Tye Tribbett. Building a reputation for his talent, he went on to work with Justin Timberlake, P. Diddy, Snoop, Kanye West, Jill Scott, and Nas just to name a few. He is currently on his second tour with music icon Lady Gaga.

Some of Spanky’s latest studio work can be heard on Jill Scott’s album, The Light of the Sun. He is credited with production on “Le Boom Vent Suite”, “Rolling Hills”, and the album title track “The Light of the Sun”.

Dance and electronic artist, Angelina Lavo, has announced that she will be giving away 10,000 free downloads of her Teaser Pack at,

Pulse 2AM Announces The Release Of Their New Music Video For "Solitary"

Pulse 2AM today announced the release of their latest music video for their single "Solitary".

The song and video bring to light the issue of abuse in many forms, although symbolized by physical abuse in this video. The message of the song and video is one of hope and strength – encouraging listeners in this situation to reach out for help.

Frontman Robert Michaels continues to showcase his unique lyrical style in this piece and says, "I grew up in an abusive environment and carried the scars for many years. I wrote this song not as a catharsis but to give strength to the abused in whatever form that may be in their lives."

Director Jennifer Hepler says "The honesty and vulnerability of these lyrics is what drew me to the song – once I heard it the first time, I knew I had to be involved in some way in creating this video."

Meet Bros Anjjan Rally And Remix On The Success Of Kyaa Super Cool Hain Hum

Mumbai based, award wining bollywood music director trio 'Meet Bros Anjjan' recently gave the Bollywood industry three blockbuster hit tracks for the Balaji Motion Pictures produced film, 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum'. In conjunction with the release of the movie, Meet Bros Anjaan remixed 'Teri Shirt da Button', which was one of the films’s highlighted tracks. Accompanying the remix is the music video filled with an all star cast. Indian Television celebrities like Karan Mehra from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Karishma Tanna, Host and Tv actress and Vivian from 'Pyaar Ki Ek Kahaani' and "Madhubala" are some of the familiar faces that can be seen enjoying the remix beats. After the success of both the versions of "Shirt da Button" by Sonu Nigam and Kailash Kher, Meet Bros Anjjan have come up with an upbeat version in their voices. Working for the popular production house was no small feat considering the esteemed producer of the film, "Ekta Kapoor". According to Meet Bros Anjjan, "She’s a very a tough person to sell to, she sifted through the 60-70 songs we played for her and included some of her favorites in the film.” The film included the songs "Teri Shirt da Button", "Hum Toh Hain Cappucino" and "Volume High", which have been quickly ascending in the music charts.

Meet Bros Anjjan have also captured the fandom of one of the film’s heroes, Rithesh Deshmukh. The actor was inspired to sing a marathi version of the film’s title track "Hum Toh Hain Cappucino". Thanks to a little creative thinking from Meet Bros Anjjan, Ritesh had the opportunity to sing some of the song’s pivotal parts in Marathi, his mother tongue. "He was a little shy first but then we convinced him to sing and make his debut with us", mentioned Meet Bros Anjjan. What resulted was a second version of the song, translated completely in Marathi by Ritesh himself and an accompanying YouTube video which Ritesh stars and sings in.

In a short time, Meet Bros Anjjan have achieved an enviable amount of success, as both first-rate performers and highly in-demand music directors. New Album By Ajay Mathur Produces Three Award Nominated Singles

Acclaimed solo artist Ajay Mathur’s new visionary album, A Matter of Time, nicely blends both pop and rock genres with traditional Indian instruments and an ensemble of fresh new tracks that are a tribute to his talent as a singer/songwriter and musician.

Born and raised in India, Ajay performed at some of the hottest clubs in Delhi and Mumbai during the height of the 1970's. Review: "Red Hot Mama" By Grammy Winning Harmonica Ace Sugar Blue

Grammy award winner Sugar Blue plays live on "Red Hot Mama," in an up tempo track with one sweltering hot band backing him up. "I'm burning up" is one of the lyrics, and that's true of the whole song. Energetic and funky, with lively percussion, guitar, keyboards, bass, and of course Sugar Blue on harmonica, the track is one that pops from beginning to end. The ensemble plays well together in this song which is a fusion of jazz, funk, rock, and blues, and it's a feel good, get up and move kind of groove. Recorded live, "Red Hot Mama" is performed by an ensemble that is strictly professional, both in name and performance, with Rico McFarland (guitar), James Knowles (drums), Ilaria Lantieri (bass and co-writer on most of the album's originals). Sugar Blue blows with all the power of a tornado, and he's just as dangerous as he bends the harmonica to his every whim. The Music Collective Releases Official Soundtrack For Hallmark Channel’s First-Ever Movie Musical Drama, "The Music Teacher"
