Electronic music DJ and producer Xsidion has released his sophomore EP Behind the Mask. Transcending the eclecticism of his debut Anarchy, Behind the Mask delivers a more synergetic musical chaos. His penchant for classical music colours the entire album with smooth synths and piano riffs, but also includes Xsidion's trademark disorderly style pushing through. Xsidion recently released a new track, 'Jullaby', leading to the EP, which introduced a soft but striking progressive house approach, abandoning the apocalyptic atmosphere he created in his debut EP Anarchy. The mellow yet mighty track 'Paradox' cultivates trance vibes to the greatest effect, though disturbed by underlying melancholy. Overall, Behind the Mask proves that Xsidion is an artist who knows his niche yet never fails to redesign the box.
Xsidion is a DJ and producer based in Las Vegas, whose musical stylings cover electro, house, hip-hop, trap, dubstep and more. He's opened for the likes of Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris in Las Vegas, as well as several other local DJs.
