Brandon Bonine Releasing New Single "Only With You" In Anticipation Of Debut Album Launch

Singer-songwriter Brandon Bonine announced the release of his upcoming new single "Only with You" for Tuesday, March 20th. This is the troubadour’s third single in anticipation of his much talked about upcoming debut album WARRANTED WORRIES coming this Spring.

“I’m super excited about my release of ‘Only with You’,” says newcomer Brandon Bonine. “I wanted to create the perfect summer song for 2018, something everyone could groove to, and we have it. This is the perfect track to tease my debut album and what is to come!”

Brandon’s soulful and raw acoustic sound often draws comparisons with John Mayer. He has studied under Pat Metheny, and proudly finds musical inspiration from Townes Van Zandt, John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughn – as well as Metheny. His jazz/blues/rock infused Americana style has similarities with the Avett Brothers.

The music video for Brandon’s first single Remember My Name (directed by Diego Cruz of Detroit) from the upcoming debut album was recently nominated for Country Music Video of the Year at the Midwestern Music Video Awards and best Male Indie Music Video by LA Music Critic. Brandon worked with well-known Director Diego Cruz again on the new music video for Only with You creating a beautiful visual story for the sexy song.

Brandon is establishing himself as one of Detroit’s top indie jazz guitarists performing house concerts & gigs as well as building a following as a songwriter - even collaborating with YOUNG RJ of Slum Village (J Dilla, 50 Cent).

The new single “Only with You” was recorded at Big Sky Recording Studio, and was written and produced by Brandon Bonine. The new single will be available March 20th from Midwestern Heartbreak Records via iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon.

About Brandon Bonine
Born and raised in the shadow of the Motor City, Brandon Bonine found music early on in life. Probably first hearing Teddy Pendergrass and Aaron Copland in his diaper, it was hard for him not to feel the infectious groove. First picking up the guitar at the age of 11, he spent hours learning from the jazz cats of his dad’s record collection, idolizing the poster of Slash on his wall. He was rejected from music school, but that didn’t stop him. Throughout college he divided his time between jazz gigs and DJing parties, often trading meals to build up his record and coffee collection. He finds inspiration from Pat Metheny, whom he’s studied under, Townes Van Zandt, John Mayer, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. After college he hooked up with YOUNG RJ of Slum Village(J Dilla, 50 Cent) and began crafting his next body of work. Halfway inspired by his life events and trying to capture that feeling of driving on a dirt road after having one too many espressos. To capture the vibe he was headed for, he teamed up with RJ RICE (producer; Poe, Pet Shop Boys) and formed a band with DANA DAVIS (Aretha Franklin, Byron Cage) and CHRISTON MASON (TLC, Phillip Phillips). Go hit those like buttons and hop on the groovy train, with a little bit of good Midwestern heartbreak. Stay up to date with Brandon at BrandonBonine.com

Soul Music Legend Charles Wright's New Autobiography, "Up From Where We've Come," Garners Rave Reviews

New Historical Autobiography Detailing the Racism and Hardship the Wright Family Faced as Sharecroppers Near Clarksdale, Mississippi Circa The '40s and early '50s.

"Charles Wright is a gem and a real national treasure." - "Little Richard" Pennyman

"...Charles Wright gets it right in this tell all memoir. It is heartbreaking, intriguing – I was drawn in as if I was there myself. A must read for all who understand what it means to 'Express Yourself'." –- Roland Bynum, KJLH-FM Radio Personality

Among the most profound new literary entries to be released in 2016 is a bitter true to life tome from culturally conscious Rhythm & Blues legend Charles Wright, the singer/songwriter/guitarist best known for singing and composing '70s soul smash "Express Yourself" still heard daily on radio, in movies and dozens of television commercials.

The multi-talented messenger has taken up his pen to complete the first in a planned series of autobiographies that details his painful early life stories as a southern Black man that miraculously brought himself from poverty to prosperity. The inaugural installment, Up From Where We've Come, is an up close and intimate telling of the Wright family's backbreaking struggles as sharecroppers near Clarksdale, Mississippi through the '40s and early '50s. Written in the raw dialects of how Blacks and Whites communicated during that era, it's a riveting insider's glimpse into the realities of the times.

"Do we truly know the full extent of our history?" Write challenges. "I'm willing to bet that most of us do not have the slightest idea. Up From Where We've Come is the history of me as a child growing up in the cotton fields of Mississippi at a time few, except people such as myself, remember. It's an intimate slice of America's history."

Here's what people are saying about the book:

"Beautiful! A wonderful introduction to a warm and interesting man – the words took me back to a time I never experienced but I felt as though I was there." - Regina Womack (Wife of the late great Soul Music Legend Bobby Womack)

"A powerful read! It was my intention to read the book over a period of time but once I started I could not stop until I reached the final page. This brutally honest book has all of the ingredients for a compelling film." - Andrea R. Garrison, Host – Online with Andrea

"Educational yet inspiring." - David Humphrey

"His story is heartfelt and at times utterly chilling. There were times when I laughed out and others when I came close to tears. Whether you're a Wright fan or not, it shines a light on the racial injustices that continue to plague our country. Exceptionally good book!" - Andrew Davis

"The author has this unique ability to blow my mind with his great imagination and the way he skillfully paints vivid pictures. This is one book you will not want to put down!" -– BleuocĂ©an

An important piece of history:
Up From Where We've Come is an important piece of history which every true American should seek to experience… especially those who are seeking the truth. Through his hindsight insights as an older/wiser man, Wright imparts knowledge, culture and context in each of the tome's 56 chapters. Along with the struggle, there is the warmth of family and a love story that blossoms against all odds.

Up From Where We've Come emerges as a triumphant and highly unique literary statement from a man whose music has touched several generations.

"People who've read my book always say, 'I simply could not put it down,' proclaims Wright, "and for this, I am so very thankful".

Ex-Psychedelic Furs Guitarist John Ashton Returns With SATELLITE PARADISO's New Single And Video: "Angelic"

Contact: Patrick Ermlich / Effective Immediately PR
Phone: (212) 777-6727 ex. 206
email: patrick@ei-pr.com

"A monstrous, swaggering wall of sound." - Vive Le Rock (UK)

"Akin to his celebrated contemporaries, Johnny Marr and The Edge, John Ashton is that rare breed of guitar player whom you can identify in a single note or chord." - Tom Semioli, Huffington Post

Interstellar Sound is proud to announce the release of "Angelic," the 2nd single and video from the critically acclaimed debut album by SATELLITE PARADISO, the new all-star project from John Ashton, formerly of The Psychedelic Furs.

The album finds the iconic guitarist still pushing the sonic boundaries he forged a generation ago, with his penchant for anthemic melodies as strong as it ever was.

This is clearly demonstrated within the first few seconds of "Angelic." The song explodes in the kind of glorious, insanely catchy, sax-driven melodic rush that typifies the best of The Furs, while clearly setting its own agenda for the future. The video adds digital LSD.

See and hear for yourself on YouTube (https://youtu.be/xiPBbXmD2S4) or on Facebook (http://on.fb.me/1N5FdRv).

A little help from his friends has serendipitously shaped Ashton's crew for this voyage into an ensemble for the ages, including bassists Sara Lee (Gang of Four, B-52s) and Gail Ann Dorsey (David Bowie, Lenny Kravitz); drummer Paul Ferguson (Killing Joke); guitarist Cheetah Chrome (Dead Boys, Rocket From the Tombs); Mercury Rev's Anthony Molina and Jonathan Donahue; Flo & Eddie's Mark Volman (The Turtles, Frank Zappa, T.Rex); and original Furs members Duncan Kilburn (sax) and Roger Morris (guitar, keys) - just to name a few.

"Angelic" features Sara Lee (bass); current Furs members Mars Williams (sax), Amanda Kramer (piano, keys) and Paul Garisto (drums); and new-found powerhouse Fred Schreck (The Ancients, Crush) on lead vocals and lyrics.

Schreck and drummer/pianist Frank Coleman (Bentmen/Secret Agent), who made the video, form the core of the live band and are among a number of "new faces" on the album (many with long careers) whose profiles have been elevated through Ashton's discovery.

The Psychedelic Furs first assaulted the American rock 'n' roll consciousness with Top 40 smash, "Love My Way," followed by "Heaven," "The Ghost in You," "Pretty In Pink," (which gave the John Hughes film its name) and "Heartbreak Beat."

SATELLITE PARADISO gives Ashton a new platform, liberating him to go where no six-string gunslinger has gone before. The group has amassed a grassroots following of die-hard fans, after a successful PledgeMusic campaign to launch the album. A second album and live performances in the US and Europe are being planned.

The album is available now on iTunes: (http://apple.co/1lxsjVv) and Amazon (http://amzn.to/1OhWo4Y)

Follow Satellite Paradiso on Facebook here. Sign up for their mailing list at satelliteparadiso.com.

"John Ashton unveils SATELLITE PARADISO, a long-gestating all-star project that explores cosmological questions uniting science, nature, and temporality with a totalizing virtuosity. Distortion becomes a palpable electromagnetic field as Ashton embarks on a Dante-esque sonic journey through a rhythmic wormhole in space-time that leads somewhere between 1984 and a timeless utopian future." - Aidan Levy, THE VILLAGE VOICE

"With its virtuoso riffs, sonic swirls, sassy sax, melancholic cello and powerful vocals, SATELLITE PARADISO is music of the highest calibre." - Manchester Review (UK)

"From power pop to rock 'n' roll aggression, this is a project just itching for airplay." - Vive Le Rock (UK)

Maverick Musician Touring The USA, Guerrilla Style

Indie Soul Rock Singer-Songwriter Shanta Paloma has spontaneously set out on a national tour to bring music to people of America, where they are at — their venues, their streets, and their computers. With unconventional strategy, she is stopping in approximately 20 major cities across the USA to play her music wherever she can. Some shows and festivals are scheduled. Others are on the fly. Armed with a guitar and a GoPro action camera, Shanta has been videotaping her journey and releasing a rockumentary series.

This adventure is being shared via Paloma’s Youtube Channel: www.Youtube.com/ShantaPaloma and her website, www.ShantaPaloma.com.

According to Shanta, the whole project is a demonstration not only on following one’s bliss, but also on how the music industry has changed so drastically since social media networks and online distribution. Paloma said, "The music industry rules keep changing as fast as it takes us musicians to catch on. Being an independent singer-songwriter means being our own PR reps, booking agents, marketing firms, managers, promoters, sound guys, roadies and web designers. And that can take away resources from making quality art. Now, more than ever, we artists must create something out of nothing because there are the rules that never change — share good music. Why can’t it be just as simple as that? I believe in sharing resources and my songs are what I have to offer."

Maverick musician Shanta Paloma embarked on her unconventional tour on October 4th, 2015, in Boston, Massachusetts. Solo, she is driving northwest, down California and then back to New England, via the southern route. For up to date information on where and when Shanta will be touring, visit her website often: www.ShantaPaloma.com. End-time Cultists to Fund Metal Record on Kickstarter

Despite overwhelming calls from world leaders to "please listen to reason", New York prog-metal guitarist Brett Miller and Argentinian fantasy concept artist Marcelo Orsi Blanco have launched "Oath Of Dagon" - a Kickstarter project that threatens to plunge mankind into a new dark age of horror and chaos.

Already being funded by Cthulhu cultists the world over, Miller's 5th record of instrumental metal guitar is wholly inspired by the weird fiction of H.P. Lovecraft. Says Miller: "We're combining a 10 song instrumental metal record with 10 Lovecraftian paintings. The result is the journal of an artist being driven mad by his dreams, bundled with a music download card that fits into the paintings like an occult key."

When asked by U.S. presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton "why they would do such a thing", Miller and Blanco responded "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!", at which point Mrs. Clinton was lifted screaming into the air by invisible tentacles, and quickly disemboweled.

Potential cult members and backers interested in streaming and downloading three tracks from the upcoming record, can do so by visiting http://www.BrettMillerMusic.net

About the Artists

Brett Miller is a guitarist who has four solo records under his belt ("Constant", "Druid Green", "Metal", "Beast Sides"), and is also a composer of original soundtracks in the video game industry. In addition, he is the author of several guitar instructional books and audio courses, and is an in-demand guitar coach.

Marcelo Orsi Blanco is a concept artist and game designer, whose artistic talents can be seen everywhere from sci-fi book covers, to tabletop RPGs, to websites. He's currently in development of a platformer style video game based on Lovecraft's "The Mound". See more of his artwork at his site http://www.Crawlers-Den.com

825 Records Releases Kerchief's Debut Album "Machines And Animals"

Following a single release paired with immediate regional touring and press, radio, and TV broadcast exposure comes Kerchief's highly anticipated debut LP "Machines and Animals," available on digital outlets worldwide today.

The success of the album's lead single "Milk & Honey" started swiftly upon its release shortly after Kerchief's debut at SXSW 2015. The in-studio music video premiered on THECOOLTV Network across the United States while internet, indie, and college radio followed suit, consequently obtaining an official CMJ Chart add and a consistent rotation throughout the summer. Press from print magazines such as Music Connection and indie blogs across the web spread the news about the former Vanity Theft guitarist/singer's new venture. The support from all angles is strengthened by a pre-existing fan base accept- ing Britt Hill's new project with open arms and packing clubs from Tennessee to Chicago, everywhere around, and in between.

With ten songs tracked within seven days in Brooklyn, NY, in September of 2014, “Machines & Animals” offers tracks that expertly weave Hill’s smooth voice with the edge of her songwriting and lyrics. Guitar riffs bite into bass lines that ebb and flow with emotional vocals, taking inspiration from a personal journey. Heavy drum beats and layered guitars articulate the feelings behind stories of the pursuit of finding a purpose in life’s daily struggles, reflecting an evident influence from ‘90s alternative rock.

Producer Matty Amendola knew working with Kerchief would be a perfect fit as soon as he heard her demos. Working closely with engineer and Grammy Award winner Butch Jones, he created a sound that would bring Kerchief’s debut album to life. Shortly after, Kerchief signed an artist development and distribution agreement with Amendola's music incubator, 825 Records.

Recent reviews have also added, "Her musical influences are more urban than, say, Ani DiFranco, but she has the same strength of character" (The Blues Bunny) as well as comparisons such as "Arcade Fire- meets-PJ Harvey" (Tunes Digest) and succinct statements such as "Hill’s music reflects a long and sto- ried personal journey that hits with force and leaves the mind in a haze of personality" (Richard Lyne - Appetizer Radio).

Kerchief can be seen during the next few months around the South with a regular show schedule, but has been announced to be headlining The Cutting Room in NYC on August 29th. She'll be backed by special guests bassist Michael MacIvor (Candiria) and producer Matty Amendola on drums.

Advanced tickets are available now via Ticketfly and come with a free CD.

Legendary Stax Guitarist Steve Cropper And Rock Newcomer Matt Miller Make Beautiful Music Together

Cleveland, Ohio may be the "rock and roll capital of the world," but Matt Miller, Cleveland’s newest rock export, has been making beautiful music with Memphis legend and renowned Stax guitarist, Steve Cropper.

Cropper plays guitar on Miller’s re-make of the 1967 classic, "The Hunter," previously recorded by Albert King, Ike & Tina Turner and Led Zeppelin. Additionally, Miller and Cropper co-wrote (with producer, Eddie Gore) two new songs, "Remember Us," and "Last Ride" for Miller’s debut album.

"It was a huge honor to work with Steve," says Miller. "I'll never forget the first encounter. Imagine waiting in a studio anticipating that at any second someone you've always aspired to is about to walk through that door. It was all nerves for me up until that point, but once we sat down with our guitars, we just let the music flow. It was as incredible experience that I'll always reminisce upon. Play it, Steve!"

Cropper’s legendary reputation began with his years as the guitarist of the infamous Stax Records house band, Booker T. & the MG’s, playing behind Memphis’ own musical royalty, artists like Sam & Dave, Johnny Taylor, Rufus Thomas and the inimitable Otis Redding. He later appeared in the classic film, "The Blues Brothers" and toured as a member of the Blues Brothers band. He is considered one of the world’s greatest guitarists, and was named by Mojo Magazine as the second-best guitarist ever, with only Jimi Hendrix beating him in the rankings.

Miller, who recently celebrated his 21st birthday, discovered his love for music in high school with the formation of his alternative rock band Shred Rot in 2010. "We captured pure raw energy, he states about the power trio that emerged from the Cleveland School of Rock. "We just got on stage and gave it our all. Sometimes music can get a message across better than words can, and we wanted to be the ones to deliver that message."

After the band broke up, Miller still wanted to "deliver that message," and moved forward as a solo artist. "The solo experience has helped me grow as an artist, evolve as a songwriter, and develop my artistry."

"Writing with Steve Cropper has been an unforgettable learning experience," continues Miller. "I’m learning about the craft of songwriting – from a legendary songwriter, and I’m learning about the industry from musicians who have navigated it for years. All of this has had a huge influence on me. It is monumental to have someone like Steve Cropper to look up to!"

Cameras were rolling during the extraordinary sessions and a trio of short clips have been released with commentary from Miller, Cropper and Gore which can be viewed here:

Award Winning Southern Rocker Launches Indiegogo Campaign For "Outlaw In Love", The New Album By Glitter Rose

http://mi2n.com/press.php3?press_nb=180769

Known as the Outlaw Southern Rocker, 29 year old singer, songwriter, producer and 8-time award winner Glitter Rose launched her 30 day Indiegogo campaign today in support of her 3rd full length studio album "Outlaw In Love". GR is a 17 year veteran in the music industry, and has worked as an independent artist her entire career. She is a perfect blend of rock, country, pop and alternative.

Her first 2 albums, "Southern Comfort" and "Dead or Alive", show an assertive side of the female guitarist, with songs that focus on fun story-telling and good times. "Outlaw In Love" takes a different approach, showing a softer, more vulnerable side of GR and addresses the personal experiences she's been through since moving to Los Angeles, CA in late 2011. The album will also be produced by Glitter Rose.

GR's reason for the campaign is to engage with her fans on a more personal level. People who contribute are rewarded with some great gifts, but more importantly, they become of part of the making of the album.

"I wanted to let my fans in to my world, let them see how the process works for making an album. Since this is such an intimate album for me on an artistic level and as a songwriter, I wanted it to be intimate on the development level as well, bringing my friends and fans in close, so they can be a part of the journey with me." –Glitter Rose

Album production will start shortly after the campaign ends. Pre-production has already started for the album and some teasers of the songs can be heard on GR's campaign video and new album teaser video on her YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/glitterrosemusic).

GR's Indiegogo campaign will end Friday, February 20th, 2015 at 11:59pm PST. In celebration of the campaign's final day, Glitter Rose and The Band will be performing at The Mint in Los Angeles, CA. For tickets to the February 20th show and for information how to make dinner reservations, please visit www.themintla.com. To visit the Indiegogo campaign, go to http://igg.me/at/outlawinlove or GR's website, www.GlitterRose.com.

ABOUT GLITTER ROSE: Starting at the age of 13 in 1998, GR has dedicated her life to her craft and her fans. Never swaying in her musical truths, Glitter has walked away from several offers to be something she's not. Pushing strong as an independent artist, she has performed over 3,000 shows, has 12 major endorsements including companies like Gibson Acoustic Guitars, Orange Amps, and Telefunken Elektroakustik to name a few, and has worked on projects with musicians like Matt Sorum, Chris Chaney, Stu Hamm, SeHwang Kim, Billy Morrison, and more.

In 2012, GR moved from Ft. Worth, TX to Los Angeles, CA, with a residency at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood Blvd for her signature show titled Southern Rock Brunch. 2013 brought some of her many accolades, like Best Rock Artist and Album of the Year for Dead or Alive from the Artists In Music Awards, Best Music Video for "Buda Negra" in the Bare Bones International Film Festival and Country Artist of the Year in the Los Angeles Music Awards. GR also wrote the title track for the feature film "American Girl", as well as made a cameo appearance, and is an associate producer on the film, which won Best Producer of a Feature Film in the 2014 LA Femme International Film Festival. In 2014, GR launched her career as a producer, teaming up with engineer and mixer Francisco Rodriguez. She also co-wrote and performed on a track with Stu Hamm and SeHwang Kim for the soundtrack of the Korean box office smash The Technicians, titled "Two Lovers".

Dean Brown Addresses Unfinished Business On New Recording, All-Star Cast Featured On Guitarist’s Fourth CD As A Leader

On Unfinished Business, veteran guitarist Dean Brown, whose scintillating six-string work can be heard on over 200 recordings, steps out with his fourth dynamic outing as a leader. Joining him on this eclectic offering, which ranges from hard-hitting funk to lovely ballads, soothing samba flavored grooves, Latin-tinged jams, greasy organ-fueled blues and cool jazz, are longstanding colleagues Marvin “Smitty” Smith on drums and Gerry Etkins on keyboards. Their intuitive sense of simpatico blends nicely on this highly interactive session with bassists Hadrien Feraud, Jimmy Earl, Schuyler Deale and Rene Camacho, Hammond B-3 organist Bobby Sparks, percussionist Joey DeLeon, trumpeter Lee Thornburg, vibraphonist Bernard Maseli and tenor saxophonists Doug Webb and Kirk Whalum. Santana drummer Dennis Chambers, who played on Brown’s powerhouse trio recording from 2009, appears on one track.

Brown stretches with heroic abandon on this collection of old and new tunes from his catalog, showing the remarkable versatility, ingenuity and go-for-it intensity that has marked his 30-year career as a guitarist-composer-arranger and educator. An in-demand figure on the global fusion and contemporary jazz scene, Brown has toured and recorded with such luminaries as Marcus Miller, The Brecker Brothers, Billy Cobham, David Sanborn, Bob James, George Duke, Roberta Flack, Lenny White, Joe Zawinul and Steve Smith’s Vital Information, but takes the greatest pleasure in his own personal projects. The aptly-titled Unfinished Business, which includes some previously unrecorded tunes originally written by the guitarist during the mid ‘80s, follows his acclaimed solo outings Here (2001), Groove Warrior (2004) and DBIII: Live at the Cotton Club Tokyo (2009), the latter a stripped-down power trio outing with bassist Will Lee and drummer Dennis Chambers.

“The title of this album is multi-faceted for me,” says Brown. “There’s the idea of being a musician in general is kind of a work in progress and tends to involve ‘unfinished business’ in terms of always paying dues, always learning and hopefully always growing as an artist. There is also the idea that there are tunes laying around that don’t make the CDs, for whatever reason. I’ve written way more music than I have records for, so there’s always more tunes. Some of these tunes on Unfinished Business are ones that didn’t make it on previous albums, so I decided to record them now. I’ve been playing them live and people have been telling me, ‘Man, you should put that tune on a record.’ So I finally got around to doing it here.”

Brown is particularly pleased with the nature of the recording during these Unfinished Business sessions. “All these tunes were recorded live in the studio,” he says, “so there’s a lot of interaction and not a lot of overdubs. I’m trying to protect that kind of stuff. I just like the integrity of the idea that all the vertical stuff happens at once. I love that live feeling.” That kind of immediacy is felt on all nine tracks from Unfinished Business, which stands as Brown’s most ambitious release to date.

Guitarist, Adrian Galysh, Enlists Ex-Yngwie Malmsteen Vocalist For New Record

Guitarist Adrian Galysh, whose previous releases have been mainly instrumental fare, has enlisted former Yngwie Malmsteen / Royal Hunt / Uli Jon Roth vocalist, Mark Boals, to contribute vocals to his new record. While the record is currently in preproduction, listeners can still expect Galysh’s tasteful guitar work, with hard rock and world music influences, to be heard throughout. Described as “A virtuoso of modern electric and acoustic guitar techniques” by 20th Century Guitar magazine, Galysh has been dazzling southern California audiences for over a decade, whether he’s backed by his band or as sideman for ex-Scorpions guitar legend, Uli Jon Roth. Boals, whose career started with stints in Savoy Brown and Ted Nugent, is noted most for his vocal work with neoclassical guitar virtuoso, Yngwie Malmsteen, appearing on four studio albums, including the hard rock classic, Trilogy. Galysh and Boals have worked together before, performing in ex-Scorpions guitarist, Uli Jon Roth’s band during a 2011 tour. Galysh says of the opportunity to write and record with Boals, “Mark Boals is one of my all-time favorite singers. I clearly remember first hearing him on Yngwie’s Trilogy album, and being blown away by how strong and unique his voice was. I’ve been fortunate to have been able to perform with both my favorite guitarist, Uli Jon Roth, as well as favorite vocalist, Mark Boals, and am thrilled to have him on my new record.” The new album, tentatively titled, “Tone Poet”, is expected to be released in summer 2012.

Monte Pittman Signature Jarrell MPS Guitar Gets Debut At Super Bowl XLVI

The Super Bowl Half Time Show has been home to many memorable guitar moments, and Super Bowl XLVI will be no exception. Phillip Jarrell of Jarrell Guitars announced at the 2012 NAMM Show the first live performance of the revolutionary new Monte Pittman Signature Jarrell MPS guitar during Super Bowl KLVI Halftime Show on Sunday, February 5th, courtesy of Monte Pittman, Grammy Award winning artist Madonna's guitarist for the past ten years. NAMM Show 2012 attendees had the first opportunity to get 'hands on, up close and personal' with the instrument, experiencing its unique vibe. Pittman and his Signature Jarrell guitar join an extraordinary group of guitarists who have performed at Super Bowl Half Time Shows, including Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash who stole the show from The Black Eyed Peas and Usher in 2011, Bruce Springsteen, who showed viewers that he was still "The Boss" with a crowd pleasing around the body guitar spin in 2009, and Prince, whose 2007 guitar solo was played behind a transparent sheet and held in a way that left critics deeming it "Phallic." In 2006, Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones banged it out with a boldness that was touted as a "raw, dirty, guitar sound, and in 2002, The Edge joined U2 and Bono in 2002 for a hypnotic guitar solo on "Where The Streets Have No Name." The Monte Pittman Signature Jarrell MPS is the result of the collaboration between the award winning visionary designer Phillip Jarrell and world renowned artist, writer, and guitarist Monte Pittman. Pittman plays so many different styles of music during any given performance that, until now, he required many different types of guitars to accommodate his needs. Utilizing Pittman's feedback, Jarrell Guitars worked with MJ at the Seymour Duncan Shop to transform the finest MPS guitar at the time into something completely new - the most versatile instrument ever made. The Monte Pittman Signature Jarrell MPS boasts a mega set of Seymour Duncan pickups with a P-Rail neck, STk-S7 Vintage Hot Stack middle and a custom design SH-13 Dime Bucker Bridge. Both neck and bridge have 3 position mini switches, with custom wiring using a Super 5 way switch, and a kill switch. All together it seems Monte Pittman and Jarrell Guitars are hell bent on rocking the world - the sound of which is none other than simply amazing. Jarrell Guitars was named "2010 Manufacturer of the Year" at the Music Industries Association of Canada (MIAC) Show in Canada, and has received accolades from PremierGuitar.com. http://jarrellguitars.com http://jarrellguitars.com/news29/ http://www.jarrell-mps.com/ http://www.jarrellguitars.com/artistpage_home.html info@jarrellguitars.com Contact info: Eric de Fontenay ecfont@musicdish.net +1-718-278-0662
