Award winning singer/songwriter Halie Loren is in production for a new music video in collaboration with HOCA STUDIO and director Thang Ho in Atlanta, Georgia this week for her original song, "Noah", off of her latest album, "From the Wild Sky", produced by Troy Miller (Jamie Cullum, Becca Stevens, Gregory Porter).



"Noah", an emotionally poignant ballad about loss and hope, is a follow-up to her first video from the album, "How to Dismantle a Life", the buoyant and charmingly wry first single which came out to worldwide praise in Summer, 2018.



"I am so excited to be working with Thang Ho on a song that means as much to me as "Noah" does. The imagery we are creating to communicate this song's story and heart is inspiring and moving me so deeply. I have seen past works Thang and his great team have worked on, and they are truly stunning. I can't wait to see the results of this collaboration!", says Loren.

MarilynMusic Is Excited To Announce Their New Youtube Music Channel

MarilynMusic has created a new music channel on YouTube.

All of the NY/LA based Music Production company's songs and videos will be available there, in addition to their other internet locations.

Those Damn Eyes' debut single release, "Mysterious Mixture" was written by vocalist Alyssa Ehrhard and guitarist Daniel Corder. Lyrical and melodic work took place shortly after the pair met in July of 2014, while music was written in the fall of 2013 and recorded in January '14 . The band has had the fortunate opportunity to create its recordings with producer and bassist, Matt Noveskey. Their sessions take place at Orb Studios, a masterfully-built studio in West-Austin. Noveskey's experienced ear and knowledge of exceptional tone has been essential in forging the band's sonic identity.

Alyssa excels as an artist; in addition to her vocal talents, she is an exceptionally talented painter and uses her skilled-hand in creating band artwork. MusicDishTV Review: "Born Beautiful" by John Mullane

Canadian recording artist John Mullane's song, "Born Beautiful", is a touching ballad. It seems like he is almost singing about his daughter or a daughter he wish he had.

The song tells that young girls shouldn't settle and to always remember that they were born beautiful. With heart and soul, Mullane sings that as adults we should never forgot the inner child within us and the happiness a sense of innocence can bring us.

The video clip is also touching. It follows the tale of a self conscious young girl, who clearly doesn't know her true self just yet. She tries to be the "cool kid" at a party and mingle with guys she isn't that interested in. But in the end she realizes partying with people who aren't her friends is lonely. She goes home to her apartment and begins to paint. Flashbacks shows she did this as a child. She suddenly feels happy and beautiful.

Mullane's song has a strong message - being true to yourself is more important than anything else. It makes you happy and we were all born beautiful to be happy.

Mixing rap, Latin and dub step into one song, Scarhop creates a unique sound with the music video "EXGF," directed by Sergio Iznaola. Possibly groundbreaking, Scarhop raps about how to get over ex girlfriends, ex boyfriends or just ex lives.

He appears to be angry throughout the song at all the exs in his life. But also determined to overcome the bad experiences and find something better and new.

As intended the song really amps up its listeners to want to fight for a good life and good relationships.

MusicDishTV Review: Brian Mackey Music Video "Honest Love"

Brian Mackey has a truly beautiful song in "Honest Love." Catchy, lyrical and touching, "Honest Love" tells of how hard it is to come by great, true love. However, although it is hard and rare to find, it is worth it. More worth it than small dalliances and small, fleeting affairs.

His music video is also very well done. For most of the song it is just Brian and his guitar, pouring out his emotions while strumming away. However, it also shows people from all walks of life who believe in honest love. They are poor, rich, different nationalities, homeless and successful. This contrasts to Brian's slightly cynical view of honest love.

It seems that Brian really wants to believe in honest love and as he explains, has attempted many times to try and hold onto true love. However, because of his bad experiences with love he struggles to understand when he will next find it and for how long. The people in the background of his music video clip create a more happy feelings and are more hopeful.

Perhaps this is the moral of the song and music video- no matter how difficult honest loves is you will ever find honest love without remaining just a little bit hopeful.

"I was inspired to write 'Fire Is Ours' as a response to mainstream media's attempt to distract voters from issues of real importance," Makana explains. The entire story takes place in the voter's imagination, that timeless moment when we look at the ballot and review our options."

Although "Fire Is Ours" was written specifically with Bernie Sanders' run for the White House in mind, Makana is quick to point out that there is also a larger significance embedded within, that the song could be applied easily to any agent of change whose concern is the greater good. "Fire Is Ours" speaks to freedom of speech, artistic expression and who we are and want to become as a people.

"Thomas Mapfumo, the famous Zimbabwean musician, talked about the responsibility we as artists have to sing about what is happening in the lives of people," says Makana. "I agree. The "Fire Is Ours" video was directed, shot and edited by Zac Heileson. Says Makana, "The two of us found a used piano in the classifieds that some guy was trying to give away, borrowed Zac's dad's truck and spent an hour struggling to lift the 700-pound beast into the truck bed. Then we drove out to a campsite and filmed in icy, snowing conditions. I was freezing until we lit the piano, then I was cooking! We only had a brief eight minutes or so before the smoke and flames completely engulfed the piano so we had to move fast. Luckily we got what we needed on the first take. I'll never forget that day. We didn't have any crew but somehow we managed to pull it off."

Makana has spent his entire career challenging himself and the various boxes into which music is often placed. On such acclaimed albums as Different Game (2006), Ripe (2013) and 25 (2014), he has fused indigenous Hawaiian slack key guitar virtuosity with elements of rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz and blues - all within poignant, original message songs - to create a brand new genre of music. His fans include musicians within all genres, among them guitar great Joe Satriani, who calls Makana "absolutely amazing," and Metallica's Kirk Hammett.

Makana's name, in Hawaiian, means "a gift given freely." Robert Kramer's music video "The Human Element" is a beautiful example of giving human spirit we should all have inside us. Showing the human elements of love, happiness, generosity and strength, Kramer tries to heal his listeners of the great tragedies the world has faced of late, including the Paris attacks.

His lyrics and melody are triumphant and up lifting suggesting to listeners to use the good in our human elements not the bad. He says that his song and music video is a 'musical vaccine to heal heart and minds."

Through close up photos of people of all different races, ages, cultures and communities, his video exposes a global community that has been unfortunately torn apart by violence. The faces and eyes he closes in on can be interpreted as the endless victims of this violence or the further generations left to deal with this hate.

Although a small video, Kramer is doing great good for the music community and the world. It is a bold statement and it would be joyous if the song could turn into a ballad of showing human kindness.

He says we create the 'human element' when we work together and actively reach out to one another. The photos of happy communities and the mixing of dark and light shades in other images shows this.

We should all take some of Kramer's wisdom and start working on the human element he signs of and visually shows in this lovely and powerful video.

Jake Clayton's "What Not To Do" Video Premieres On The Heartland Network

Jake Clayton's new music video, "What Not To Do," premieres tomorrow, Friday, December 11 on The Heartland Network at 11 p.m. Central. The clip and its companion "behind-the-scenes" video will air multiple times over the next week; check local listings for broadcast times. "It's a song that tells the stories of three separate people, their actions and the resulting consequences," explains the talented artist and multi-instrumentalist. "We wanted a gritty video - and we got it." Clayton co-produced the clip with Rob Daniels for Please & Thank You Motion Pictures; Dylan White directed.

Taped in 115-degree heat, viewers are immediately drawn in with a sense of urgency, punctuated by blistering fiddle work, dynamic guitars and heart-pounding drums. While the video is a warning about straying from a virtuous path, and is based upon real crimes, it is related in a "by example" fashion and not in a "doom-and-gloom" way. There is nothing "preachy" about Jake's high-energy performance or ear-splitting grin, and both lighten the mood considerably. Split between performance footage shot in an abandoned barn just outside of Nashville, Tennessee and entertaining re-enactments taped in Chesapeake and Portsmouth, Virginia, the video definitely matches the single in intensity.

The radio-active track, a searing up-tempo, was released to Country radio in September. Music News Atlanta states "Clayton is in a league of his own when matched against most of the current young Country artists," and describes "What Not To Do" as a "powerful and honest song in the mold of how they used to make 'em." ABOUT JAKE CLAYTON
Clayton's childhood in rural Mexico, Missouri was filled with the music his parents made, and he followed their path to the spotlights at the age of 13. Gifted with his late grandfather's fiddle, Jake immediately began blazing his own musical trail; fronting his own shows at 17, and hiring on as a fiddle player with The Oak Ridge Boys at the age of 19. He moved to Music City at the age of 20 and there, his highly-recognizable tenor - and ability to play over 20 instruments - quickly came to the notice of A-list players and a new generation of Country stars. MusicDishTV Review: Raquel Aurilia "Shattered"

Raquel Aurilia's, "Shattered" is a powerful, raw and vulnerable song. She sings of her intense heartbreak and the way love can strip us down until we are broken. Her country aesthetic and sounds are beautiful and a soft musical delight.

With the song coming straight out of Nashville it has all the makings of great country songs. A strong love story, an inner strength and the possibility that something is just around the corner.

The video clip is what makes this song pop the most however. Only focusing on Raquel's face and upper body, the zoomed in effect really demonstrates the way she is physically and emotionally shattered from this love.

At times in the video clip, her face has been hand drawn upon to look broken up and fragile. This only adds to the power of the up close shots and the simple backdrop. Raquel's heartbreak is the main focus. It isn't a fancy video clip. However, maybe that is the point. There is nothing fancy or exciting about heartbreak. It really does shatter the soul.

Aurilia has worked with Grammy award-winner Tony Papa (Willie Nelson, John Denver), Gardner Cole (Madonna, Jody Watley), Wade Martin (Art Kelly, 50 cent) and Grammy nominee Billy Smiley (WhiteHeart). Her latest release, "Long Way Home", became available 2015.

Interstellar Sound is proud to announce the release of "Angelic," the 2nd single and video from the critically acclaimed debut album by SATELLITE PARADISO, the new all-star project from John Ashton, formerly of The Psychedelic Furs.

The album finds the iconic guitarist still pushing the sonic boundaries he forged a generation ago, with his penchant for anthemic melodies as strong as it ever was.

This is clearly demonstrated within the first few seconds of "Angelic." The song explodes in the kind of glorious, insanely catchy, sax-driven melodic rush that typifies the best of The Furs, while clearly setting its own agenda for the future. The video adds digital LSD.

A little help from his friends has serendipitously shaped Ashton's crew for this voyage into an ensemble for the ages, including bassists Sara Lee (Gang of Four, B-52s) and Gail Ann Dorsey (David Bowie, Lenny Kravitz); drummer Paul Ferguson (Killing Joke); guitarist Cheetah Chrome (Dead Boys, Rocket From the Tombs); Mercury Rev's Anthony Molina and Jonathan Donahue; Flo & Eddie's Mark Volman (The Turtles, Frank Zappa, T.Rex); and original Furs members Duncan Kilburn (sax) and Roger Morris (guitar, keys) - just to name a few.

"Angelic" features Sara Lee (bass); current Furs members Mars Williams (sax), Amanda Kramer (piano, keys) and Paul Garisto (drums); and new-found powerhouse Fred Schreck (The Ancients, Crush) on lead vocals and lyrics.

Schreck and drummer/pianist Frank Coleman (Bentmen/Secret Agent), who made the video, form the core of the live band and are among a number of "new faces" on the album (many with long careers) whose profiles have been elevated through Ashton's discovery.

The Psychedelic Furs first assaulted the American rock 'n' roll consciousness with Top 40 smash, "Love My Way," followed by "Heaven," "The Ghost in You," "Pretty In Pink," (which gave the John Hughes film its name) and "Heartbreak Beat."

SATELLITE PARADISO gives Ashton a new platform, liberating him to go where no six-string gunslinger has gone before. The group has amassed a grassroots following of die-hard fans, after a successful PledgeMusic campaign to launch the album. Charlotte, NC based Alternative Rockers Falling Through April Officially Joins Independent Ear

Falling Through April has toured the US extensively with bands such as Adelitas Way & The Pretty Reckless. The have also performed at SXSW, Vans Warped Tour, Florida Music Festival, Celebrate Fairfax, Sonorous Music Festival, Dewey Beach Music Conference. More recently the guys were awarded the IMEA award for "Rock Group of the Year". Amy Kress Releases Single And Music Video Through Secret House Show Experience

After her celebrated debut album release of "Secret Music" in January of 2015, Amy Kress has returned almost a year later with new music and is now releasing "Iceland". This is her long-awaited single and music video from her sophomore album titled, "Fly" – a project whose creation served as a form of therapy and healing for Kress during cancer treatment.

The video was shot under a full moon on a warm summer night this past August where Kress invited friends and fans to her home for a "Secret House Show." Guests were led into Amy's backyard, illuminated by over 6,000 lights and were invited to relax in one of over a dozen couches moved in for the occasion.

Kress credits a friend as inspiration for the song, "When my friend booked a trip to Iceland in January for her and her boyfriend, I couldn't imagine what she was thinking but then she explained she just wanted to be curled up warm in his arms while a cold dark winter raged on outside. The reasoning behind that trip seemed so deeply romantic and Iceland was an easy song to write from there."
