Those Damn Eyes To Release Debut Single and Video "Mysterious Mixture"

Possibly one of the most anticipated releases of this year is the debut single and video by Texas rock band Those Damn Eyes entitled "Mysterious Mixture." Founded in Austin, Texas Those Damn Eyes exudes powerful, sexy aggression through its sonic display of heavy-pop-rock. Led by front woman Alyssa Ehrhard and guitarist Daniel Corder, the two have created a strong collection of material that is bursting with high-range, beautifully sung melodies and finely-crafted musical arrangements that stimulate and embolden listeners to just... give in.

"The concept behind 'Mysterious Mixture' explores the sentiment of a past relationship. I wanted to express the frustration, confusion, agony, and ecstasy in a beautiful way. Lyrically, I talk about this kind of emotional struggle. The video is an expression of acceptance and healing, showing that despite everything we still have the ability to smile and dance spontaneously. We still have the ability to be happy, no matter what might come our way. It's about my own journey of struggle and healing. Daniel is the 'good man' that found me as a diamond in the rough. I want to send a message to people who can relate to such struggle and healing; I want each of them to understand they're not alone."

Those Damn Eyes' debut single release, "Mysterious Mixture" was written by vocalist Alyssa Ehrhard and guitarist Daniel Corder. Lyrical and melodic work took place shortly after the pair met in July of 2014, while music was written in the fall of 2013 and recorded in January '14 . The band has had the fortunate opportunity to create its recordings with producer and bassist, Matt Noveskey. Their sessions take place at Orb Studios, a masterfully-built studio in West-Austin. Noveskey's experienced ear and knowledge of exceptional tone has been essential in forging the band's sonic identity.

Alyssa excels as an artist; in addition to her vocal talents, she is an exceptionally talented painter and uses her skilled-hand in creating band artwork. Daniel is a devoted composer and multi-instrumentalist who hones his skill through eclectic musical taste and collaborations in differing genres. Jake Rabin, drummer, has an admirable amount of talent and experience through his involvement in various bands in the Austin and Dallas music scenes. Marc Martell, guitarist, has developed a great finesse with lead guitar-work and shares a different project with Jake. Don Denham, bassist, works as a music teacher and bassist for-hire and devotes time to his own passion-project.

Christine Storm's New Music Video "Shoulda Coulda Woulda"

Imagine watching a music video with its first 15 seconds with no background sound at all – a beautiful woman quietly walks back and forth in her living room, without giving us a hint of what would happen next. Suddenly, a television white noise unexpectedly breaks the peace and static snow appeared on the TV screen. A HAND reaches out of the dotted screen and passes out a remote control… This is the attention-grabbing introduction of the American pop/rock singer Christine Storm's new music video "Shoulda Coulda Woulda".

With a robust voice, penetrating delivery, and bluesy sense of heart, Storm sensually yet confidently captivates her emotions and stories in her new single. "It's about a woman who catches her guy cheating", she explains. "The right move would be to get rid of him. It's another touchy subject because we, as women, tend to put our heads in the sand. [The video] captures those ups and downs of a turbulent relationship."

POSSIBLE OR NOT? Can An "Indie Artist" ACTUALLY Chart On Billboard Without Being Signed To A "MAJOR"...?

Here’s one for the books! Christine Storm has an undeniably catchy tune “Shoulda Coulda Woulda” written by both Storm and Grammy nominated/Golden globe winning producer Frank Greenfield, that's hit Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 for a total of 8 weeks straight. The hit features soaring vocals from a classic rock influence with a twist of dance-infused pop, and she doesn't plan on stopping there.

Recently collaborating with Curtis Young, Storm proclaims her new sizzling electronic, dance single "Enter the Storm" an upbeat anthem that sneaks in with a growing bass line grabbing onto you refusing to let go, "...will leave my "Storm Angels" (A term Storm uses to refer to her fans) super amped and wanting more"! The short, sweet and straight to the point lyrics will have you humming, dancing and singing all throughout the day. If you haven't heard them yet, both singles are available now at all online retailers worldwide. So there you have it, indie artists TOO can top the charts and you absolutely do NOT have to be signed to a "Major". Indie artists…. if you got what it takes, ANYTHING's POSSIBLE!

Geoff Westen's 3rd Power Pop Rock Album, I'm Not Crazy To Be Released April 7, 2015 On Disturbing Music

LOS ANGELES CA, February 2015 - The latest collection from hard-popster Geoff Westen is I'm Not Crazy. Westen's characteristic quirky and eclectic storytelling is showcased in his third album of songs on the Disturbing Music label, and is scheduled for release on April 7, 2015.

On INC, Geoff continues to follow his own musical muse, fearlessly traversing the line between PowerPop and PowerPunk. The songs are drawn from observations made over the course of an eccentric, yet sophisticated life of the career artist and performer. Both reviewers and fans alike have responded to Westen's instinctive feel, traditional songwriting chops, catchy melodies and memorable hooks.

The common denominator on all the tracks is his integration of the gamut of music styles that he has performed over his career. This includes his curious production approach, where he paints his audio canvas with layers of music to create his "Wall of Pop" trademark sound revealing more colors, textures and flavors with each repeated listening. Making himself the central character in the songs rather than telling stories about other people is another distinct component of his songwriting.

INC's 10 songs (plus 2 alternative mixes) make up this joyful pop-rock songlist. "Partyline" and the mischievous "Xciting Eyes" rock out with enough guitars and energy to fill an arena. "I Don't Know Why" and "Make It Last Forever" sound like pop song standards while "Love Has Let You Down" is a classic heartbreak ballad. Little gems like “The Big Mistake,” and “Condition Red” are pure Westen - exploiting his highly stylized Punkish pop tracks.

Westen's first two songs albums anointed him a Power Pop artist supreme. The Pigs—OINK! and Vidiots – Tune In!! showcased his dark humor and sarcasm, and affirmed his position as a hardpop specialist. Three other CDs recorded under the pseudonym, Digital Activity, explore instrumental territory, creating a Rock Ambient hybrid on his albums, BIRTH, ACTIVATE and his Xmas anthology, XMAS VOL. 1.

MusicDish Review: Rhea Francani Debut Single "Dizzy"

http://mi2n.com/press.php3?press_nb=180703

"I'm following my heart's highway from NY to Nashville. My fans know me as a city girl with a country heart. I'm thriving in two completely different worlds!" This is how Country artist Rhea Francani describes herself. She will be releasing her first single "Dizzy" on January 20, 2015 and it perfectly represents the dichotomy Rhea feels deep down for all to listen. A New York attitude with with the soul of Nashville.

The song is about a girls night out drinking together, and that all too familiar feeling of having drunk a little too much is the result leading Rhea to be feeling 'Dizzy'. The fact that the lyrics are so relatable… at least to a fellow millennials, adds to the experience. It is one thing to listen to a song, it is another to understand it.

The song starts off very intensely, with gospel organs building up to Rhea's eloquently sweet voice, and soon the chorus is cheerfully blasting. The melodic song melds seamlessly between chorus and verse, leading the listener to yearn to sing along. Listening to Dizzy before knowing more about Rhea, one would assume she was part of the Nashville Country scene since childhood. But she is actually a New Yorker (Buffalo, NY native) who left to record with the talents of Nashville, the home of her heart. The result is a fresh wake up call to an otherwise stale NYC country scene.

Rhea Francani readily admits she's not your typical country music artist and we quite agree. Dizzy has overtones of Michael Jackson-like Pop and Light Rock. "I am drawn to the southern charm of country music's heartfelt lyrics - songs about love, life and good times," Rhea explains. "I wanted to create an authentic country album drawing on the talents of the Nashville music industry, and those seasoned professionals that could bring my music to life." After listening to the song one would have to agree that she has succeeded in this.

Her debut EP "I Want You To Know" will be due out in February 2015.

Cosmpolitan Country Artist, Rhea Francani, Releases Debut Single "Dizzy" To World Market January 20, 2015

http://mi2n.com/press.php3?press_nb=180449

Rhea Francani bursts onto the music scene with the release of her first single “Dizzy” on January 20, 2015. The single, from the debut EP "I Want You To Know" due out in February 2015, is accompanied by a high-energy music video capturing the escapades of a girls’ night out. An interactive campaign coincides with the releases on Instagram inviting fans to share their favorite things about #DizzyNightOut.

Francani readily admits she’s not your typical country music artist as she was raised in Western NY and now lives in New York City. “I am drawn to the southern charm of country music’s heartfelt lyrics - songs about love, life and good times,” she explains. “I wanted to create an authentic country album drawing on the talents of the Nashville music industry, and those seasoned professionals that could bring my music to life.”

The finessed singer/songwriter/performer co-produced the four self-penned tracks at Omni Sound Studios in Nashville with Omni's own Mike Walter, utilizing some of the industry’s top studio musicians. LA/Nashville-based music videographer, Jeff Johnson, shot the high-energy music video for “Dizzy” on the streets of Music City’s Lower Broad and its honky tonks and Karaoke bars. “I’m following my heart’s highway from NY to Nashville. My fans know me as a city girl with a country heart. I’m thriving in two completely different worlds!”

Rhea has performed various styles of music on numerous stages of theatre. She is an honors graduate of Wagner College, NYC in Musical Theatre Performance. She resides in New York City and is a soon-to-be alumna of Teachers College, Columbia University, NYC with a Master's Degree in Music and Music Education. Upon graduating, May 2015, Rhea will look to reside in Nashville.

MusicDishTV Presents Robert Nix's "Walk Down The Street"

Robert Nix's video for "Walk Down the Street" is one that's difficult to explain, but incredibly pleasing to watch. He is a post-contemporary composer, but his music is so much more. The video follows Nix as he records the various instruments in the song, creating a fully experimental and pop-rock fusion track. He throws in some cut scenes of himself walking aimlessly through his home-city of Toronto to represent the theme of his song; being lost. The cinematography supports the theme as well, as the dissonance of the shaky camera certainly makes the viewer feel a little lost. The compassion in his voice and power in his presence in the video allows the video to almost attain a sense of spirituality.

All in all, this is a fantastic video from top to bottom. Robert Nix is a mastermind and he displays a true love for his craft. Teaming up with filmmaker Rohit "Badmash" Thakur was a terrific decision and "Badmash" certainly fulfilled his responsibilities.
