Singer-songwriter Raquel Aurilia announced today she will be hosting a fan appreciation party in Nashville during CMA Fest week. Raquel will perform live and celebrate with fans during the lunch hour at The Stillery on Thursday, June 7th at 12noon. The fan event is part of the Renegade Radio Nashville & Music Update Central Fan Appreciation Party Showcase.

The event is free and music fans are encouraged to show up for photo ops, meet & greet, giveaways - plus a live music performance showcase by Raquel Aurilia.
The Stillery is located in downtown Nashville just off Broadway at 113 2nd Ave N.

Raquel Aurilia's, "Shattered" is a powerful, raw and vulnerable song. She sings of her intense heartbreak and the way love can strip us down until we are broken. Her country aesthetic and sounds are beautiful and a soft musical delight.

With the song coming straight out of Nashville it has all the makings of great country songs. A strong love story, an inner strength and the possibility that something is just around the corner.

The video clip is what makes this song pop the most however. Only focusing on Raquel's face and upper body, the zoomed in effect really demonstrates the way she is physically and emotionally shattered from this love.

At times in the video clip, her face has been hand drawn upon to look broken up and fragile. This only adds to the power of the up close shots and the simple backdrop. Raquel's heartbreak is the main focus. It isn't a fancy video clip. However, maybe that is the point. There is nothing fancy or exciting about heartbreak. It really does shatter the soul.

Raquel Aurilia Launches New Music Video "Shattered" Using Tattoo Artistry For Stunning Visual Effect

(NASHVILLE, TN) September 16, 2015 – Singer-Songwriter Raquel Aurilia released her first music video "Shattered" today – and the visual effects are stunning thanks to the artistry of renowned tattoo artist Brandon Hanna. Raquel's song "Shattered" is brought to life in a stripped down way on video – telling this raw and emotional breakup story even showing the visual aspect of being literally "shattered" throughout the video.

The process of drawing the effects by hand onto Raquel's face and upper torso required her to be very still in the studio for nearly five hours as East Nashville tattoo artist Hanna's work was captured frame by frame. The music video was directed by Darrin Dickerson of Ghostwater Films and shot on-location at the Baker Farm just outside of Nashville.

"Returning to Nashville to shoot the music video was such an amazing experience," says Raquel Aurilia. "The creative process came full circle as we told the song's story through stunning visuals. This is how Country artist Rhea Francani describes herself. She will be releasing her first single "Dizzy" on January 20, 2015 and it perfectly represents the dichotomy Rhea feels deep down for all to listen. The song is about a girls night out drinking together, and that all too familiar feeling of having drunk a little too much is the result leading Rhea to be feeling 'Dizzy'. The fact that the lyrics are so relatable… at least to a fellow millennials, adds to the experience. It is one thing to listen to a song, it is another to understand it.

The song starts off very intensely, with gospel organs building up to Rhea's eloquently sweet voice, and soon the chorus is cheerfully blasting. The melodic song melds seamlessly between chorus and verse, leading the listener to yearn to sing along. Listening to Dizzy before knowing more about Rhea, one would assume she was part of the Nashville Country scene since childhood. But she is actually a New Yorker (Buffalo, NY native) who left to record with the talents of Nashville, the home of her heart. The result is a fresh wake up call to an otherwise stale NYC country scene.

Rhea Francani readily admits she's not your typical country music artist and we quite agree. Dizzy has overtones of Michael Jackson-like Pop and Light Rock. "I am drawn to the southern charm of country music's heartfelt lyrics - songs about love, life and good times," Rhea explains. BamaJam 2012 Adds HERRICK To All-Star Line-Up

Herrick has been added to the roster of stellar performers for the 2012 edition of BamaJam, arguably the South's most spectacular outdoor entertainment extravaganza.
