Antonio "A&R" Richardson has not released new music in over two years, leading some to assume that he had given up on hip-hop. However, in a time when artists turn out single after single and albums are scarce, Richardson has been devoted to his craft working on a complete album. For the past three years Richardson has been working on all aspects of his music, from the production to the writing, he poured his soul into his music. This summer Richardson struck inspiration and everything fell into place. "Even though I've been quietly working on this album for a while, the majority of the songs were completed this summer, " says Richardson, "I made tons of songs, but nothing felt complete, and then the past few months everything just came together on it's own."

"Let Life Be Like Music is a very detailed collection of my life for the past couple of years. This was an extreme therapy session, as I've been going through a lot personally," Richardson recalls, "This album was a way for me to endure it all and stay positive." Richardson touches on the very real struggles facing society today with this new album. The album explores racism, gay marriage, religion, homelessness, happiness, fatherhood, relationships, working towards goals, and hope for the people in a very straightforward manner. The songs are meant to start conversations, because Richardson believes our struggles cannot be resolved without conversation and understanding. Richardson hopes his lyrics will bring perspective so we can move to a place of understanding and resolve some of the issues we face in the world today. "Music is a universal language so this is the best way to start the conversation," Richardson says.

Blue Track Is Proud To Announce The Release Of Nelsen Adelard's Sixth Album "Voodou By You"

Blue Track is proud to announce the release of The Nelsen Adelard Band's sixth album "Voodou By You". The title is a lighthearted nod to the crazy things our better halves can seemingly make us do without our knowledge.

The album starts out in true Adelard form with the original "I Need Tonight With You" through five Delta Blues jams to the title track "Voodou By You."

What follows are four more originals reminiscent of the cut back trio approach Adelard took on his previous album, There's even an a cappella type harmonica and drum number that showcases Nelsen's affinity for the original.

Nelsen moved down to the Clearwater, Florida area and hooked up with his old friend and band mate, Jon Puhl. They played together in early incarnations of the NAB back in the 70s. Puhl brought with him a tight rhythm section of Mick Donner on bass and Phil Christman on drums. Nelsen's old friend and west coast band mate, Mark Norris even pops in for a couple tracks on the saxophone.

The new album "Voodou By You" is a smoking example of their combined talents. Excellent performances, great riffs and a no nonsense approach to modern Blues.

Grace is an acronym for (Giving Rap A Conscious Effort). Born in Tallahassee, Fla., Grace spent his early adulthood years in Los Angeles after living in Merritt Island Fl, Boston Ga., and Atlanta where his journey began. I usually come to the studio open-minded and write whatever I feel through the track but that day wasn't one of them. It wasn't hard to tell I had one thing on my mind."

PRETTY BROWN EYES was a surprise to me, Grace Mentions. "I listened the Mint Condition growing up and being able to be inspired by it as an emcee says allot about the timelessness of their music. I merely wanted to vent creatively and maybe use the song for a mixtape or promotional use because I didn't have an original beat. I ended up telling one of my best friends how I needed a track like that and he told me my producer had something similar which he assumed I had heard already and passed on it. I called my producer, he sent me the track, and the next day I went to work. After hearing what I had laid down we decided to put it out and PRETTY BROWN EYES became a single.

Bay Area Recording Artists Stephen Sea And Tricia Greenwood Release New Duet "Soul Harmony"

Soul Harmony, a duet born to be a hit where all ages turn up the volume was released today by award winning singer songwriter, Tricia Greenwood and seasoned producer, composer and musician Stephen Sea. Sea is also the founder of Broadcast Media Tracks LLC.

The song came into existence from a car ride out to lunch with Greenwoods' friend Michelle Walters explaining that her husband Brandon takes the long way around when missing a cue using a GPS for directions. MarilynMusic's Debut EP "Pure Rock" Available On ITunes Today

Publishing/composing duo MarilynMusic will release the first installment of their Pure Music series with their debut album, "Pure Rock" on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. The duo is partnering with the publishing and digital distribution company Oseao Media.

"Pure Rock" is a whirlwind tour through rock and roll history. Each song has a distinct sound with influences ranging from the Beatles and Steve Miller to more modern rockers like Nirvana, right up through to contemporary rock of today. Where tracks like "Lost Man In Los Angeles" are dominated by distorted guitars and crashing drums, others like "She's Cool" offer an acoustic rock sound with melodic vocal lines and smooth chord progressions.

Weaved into the melodies and sounds of each of these tunes are the common themes of love and loss. In "Layin' Love on the Line," the duo writes about risking everything for the love of a woman and in "Burning Man," about the healing power of love. The best part of this EP, with all its eclecticism and its wide range of sounds, is that each track really rocks. The emotionality of these songwriters shines through on every tune and the beats and grooves make you bob your head.

MarilynMusic is the partnership of musicians/composers Michael Gaines and Casey Conrad. Gaines and Conrad created MarilynMusic to marry their love and knowledge of a broad range of musical genres with the tastes of today’s pop audience. The prolific duo has numerous tracks recorded and produced, with new material constantly coming down the pipeline. Gaines and Conrad collaborate on every aspect of the music from the writing to the finished product, but the two have distinct roles in the process. Gaines is primarily responsible for lyrical composition and Conrad produces the recordings. Both write the music and play on the recordings – Conrad on bass and drums and Gaines on guitar. This duo clearly has a lot of music to offer and this EP is a rocking good start.

Atlanta Based Hip-Hop Artist Buck$ Releases New Single "It's Been A Long Time"

Krian Music Group announced the release of the single "It's Been A Long Time" from up and coming artist Buck$. The single is a collaboration with another noted Atlanta-based artist, Bobby V, and also contains the hard-hitting B-Side entitled "Neckwork." BUCK$ is presently recording and producing other songs for his upcoming debut album, which is slated for a summer release.

Addressing the issue of how the song came about, Buck$ stated, "It was initially about one woman in particular, but I expanded it to become a love letter to the streets. I originally recorded it in my Atlanta home studio, and after I had the beats, the lyrics just came to me. I actually wrote the lyrics to the song in about seven minutes." Buck$ recently built what he calls a $100,000 studio for $5,000 by piecing together a vocal booth and soundproofing it with suitable materials that were given to him by friends, colleagues, and even some things that he found on the streets.

Definitely hands on when it comes to his music, Buck$ handles most of the production and beats, as well as writing his lyrics. He does, however, occasionally collaborate with other artists to add that "something special" to the mix. While known as a rapper, though, it is difficult to categorize him as such because he incorporates sounds and rhythms from other genres into his music to produce a sound that is quite unique. Buck$ acknowledges that he is a student of the golden age of hip hop and R&B, and believes that "when you're on the stage, you should have something of importance to say to the world. I use my real life experiences, even tragedies that have befallen me, as motivation for my music."

Regarding his upcoming CD, Buck$ stated, "Preparation for the album is in its final stages, but as far as the process goes, I'm still working on new tracks. I never know when the next collaboration will come about. To me, the record isn't finalized until the due date."

Critiquing "It's Been A Long Time," Jon Peritz of MusicDish said, "It has a very genuine sound to it and is one that fans from many genres can appreciate. Distinctive R&B and hip hop melodies work together with funky rhythms to produce a very energetic, captivating feel good song that makes you want to dance. Bobby V's smooth voice is the perfect complement to Buck$'s rhymes and the two vocalists play off the energetic instrumental track with skill and precision, accompanied by flutes, chants, and percussion. The magnetic hook and backing track bring it all together perfectly."
