Oakland, CA-based surf rock trio Shark in the Water, have released their debut full length album "Every Week Is Shark Week" and are currently streaming the album online at sharkinthewater.net. The album is available now for purchase on CDBaby (www.cdbaby.com/cd/everyweekissharkweek) with iTunes, major streaming services and other digital retailers following shortly.
Comprised of guitarist Jim Utterback, bassist Jerry Langhorst, and drummer Dale Conboy, Shark in the Water prides themselves on their unique brand of hard-hitting, gritty surf music. Heavily blurring the lines between surf and hard rock, the band describes their work as "surf music with teeth." Accentuated by Utterback’s distinctive attack on the baritone guitar, and the relentless rhythm section of Langhorst and Conboy, Shark in the Water reveals a sound they truly believe you have never heard before.
