Connor Vance, an Alt-Rock Pop singer songwriter based out of Gainesville, FL, debuts his single 'Run' on December 14th, 2015. Recorded at world renowned Big3 Studios in St. Petersburg, FL, with producer Ian Bentley and head engineer Jim "Pinky" Beeman, 'Run' showcases Connor's unique vocals, catchy hooks, innovative drum sounds, and deep, meaningful lyrics.
ReverbNation.com will feature the track in their Crowd Picks beginning December 15th. The music video for Run is available to view on his RN page, as well as at www.ConnorVanceMusic.com. 'Run' will be available on all music streaming platforms such as Spotify, as well as iTunes.
'Run' was inspired from true traumatic events that took place in his dear auntie Teresa's shoes. While battling cancer and life threatening surgery, she had found out that her husband of 25 years had been having an affair.
Fortunately, Teresa survived. But upon her return home from months in the hospital, she had to face the fear of being alone, heart wrenching memories, anger, frustration, sadness, and so many questions as to why this was happening (the chorus ends with "I worried when things turned grey, that you'd run").
Originally hailing from B.C. Canada, Connor has been enthusiastically writing music from the age of 13. His style combines elements of catchy pop songs to rocking alt rock tunes.
"His voice is a time-traveled blend of 80s, 90s and now; nuanced, different, but still heart-throbby and marketable" – Sean Daly, Tampa Bay Times
Connor Vance will independently his debut EP in the Spring of 2016.
