Pilot Hayes – “She’s Sexy”
If you are sitting in a room where the bass plays low and the singer's voice is giving off a sultry vibe and you imagine the subject of the song walk into this very room, then you have caught on to 'She's Sexy' by Pilot Hayes Band from Charlotte, NC. Very Sexy!

Yona Pax – “Votez Pour Moi”
The sound of a dove is the best way to describe the voice of Italian Born Yona Pax. This song 'Vote for Me' in English, sung in French is a lovely ballad that is certain to bode well in the European scene!

JMAXX – “Sassy Girl”
Yeah, I think that this one is the rare gem in this compilation. The link to hear the song didn't work for me at first and thankfully the good people at Bongo Boy Records retrieved it for me right away so I could listen and review it. They say there's a reason things happen: I think this song was meant to stand out for me because I have become an intsafan! This is song in it's entirety has a super electro beat that will have you remembering it hours after you have heard it!

Saydah featuring E. – “Rhythm”
Love, love, love the way this one starts out! Saydah has a beautiful trill in her voice which lends super-sexiness to this catchy tune. Without a visual, close your eyes and imagine a sexy Burlesque show full of glitz and that's what immediately comes to mind!

Xavier Toscano – “Apologies Wasted”
SPECTACULAR! On ALL fronts! This song has you from the start with clever lyrics and sound that will have you dancing (or moving however you want to) immediately. This is one for the iPod for those long run days! I see this artist going very far.

Natalie Jean and Guy R. Jean – “C’est Toi Et Moi”
Let's daaaaaaaaaaaaaance! If you want a song that will take you back to a classic 'Donna Summer's-esque' Studio 54-style movement that is resurrected in this song. You will not be able to stop listening! (or dancing) This is Studio 54 revival at It's best!

Conceptz – “Funky 5”
Once again Conceptz has the world head bobbing to their rhythm with this song! This duo has some beautiful lyrical breakouts in this song and (dare I say) has the Michael Jackson' appeal with a modern twist. Fab!

Management: Hydra Management

Wayne O – “She’s My Girl”
Ahhhhhhh.....there it is! The Big Bopper sound I have been waiting all my life for (in MY lifetime!) This song is what the 1950's were all about: poodle skirts, letterman sweaters, bobby socks, boyfriends and rock & roll. This song is just the ticket to take you back to GOOD OLD FASHIONED Rock & Roll. Divine!

Deborah Henriksson – “Evening Star”
If prettiness and Celtic music could be captured in a delicate bottle, this is it. This Swedish singer has the voice of an angel and this song goes straight to the heart. The rhythm and vocals are something you'll want to listen to if you are a dreamer at heart. Simply lovely.

Sarantos – “I Love To Love You Too”
Dig deep people! The synthesizer sound in this is pure magic. I am certain that if I was on my last dance at the club and couldn't go any more, this would be the song to revive me. The beat is infectious and will stay in your head long after it's done. You'll definitely want to hear it again - This is Hypnotic music at it's best!

Susan Barth Makes Repeat Appearance On Sounds Like Cafe Compilation

Website: http://www.susanbarth.com/
Music: http://www.myspace.com/susanbarth

Adult Contemporary Singer-Songwriter Susan Barth has been invited to have her song "Rainbows" from her upcoming album "Songs From the Suburbs" included on the Sounds Like Cafe Compilation Album Vol. 28. Sounds Like Cafe distributes quality new music to over 1200 cafes and coffee shops throughout all states and territories of Australia. The title track to her sophomore album "Wonderland" was previously featured on the Sounds Like Cafe Compilation Album Volume 18.

"Rainbows" is a folksy tune where the lyrics evoke a sense of fantasy. A cute way of believing in all things fortune, hope and heavenly bliss. The arpeggio parts on the mandolin with a tight rhythm acoustic guitar part give this song a country-like vibe.

All it takes is one listen to singer/songwriter Susan Barth's music and you'll be both delighted and captivated by it. With a retro songwriting style and a voice described by the International News Agency as "sultry and sensuous, imbued with sincere emotions and a refreshing rebellious flair," she's at the top of her game. Susan Barth has carved a place for herself in the genre of Adult Contemporary music that recalls the glory days of 60's and 70's pop music. When asked, she describes it as "Retro - Melodic Pop with a sad side".

Although chiming guitars and eminently catchy choruses make her music instantly endearing, beneath an iridescent pop sparkle lies a dense shadowland. Clever songwriting and arrangement, catchy hooks and well placed instrumental parts are a feature of her latest album "Songs from the Suburbs," to be released in early 2010.

Susan's first three CDs captured the attention of the music industry, earning accolades. Her songs have landed in the finals in numerous songwriting contests, including the UK Songwriting Contest, Billboard Songwriting Contest and Unisong Song Contest. Susan was named Runner Up for Songwriter of the Year in 2006 and 2007 by DIY, one of the most respected indie artist networks, which also chose "Wonderland" as the 2005 Runner Up for Album of the Year. Susan has also been awarded 7 ASCAP Songwriting Merit Awards over the last few years. Hit WB TV series "Smallville" utilized the track "Feel Like A Man" from the album "This Thing" to underscore on-screen action, which was also awarded 2nd place in Billboard's Annual Songwriting Contest. She recently inked licensing deals with a trio of powerhouse companies who keep Hollywood supplied with songs.

Alexander Shulgin's "Triptych" Leverages NING Platform

In anticipation of the digital release of jazz compilation "Triptych. Shulgin's Songbook" by The Orchard, MusicDish Network announced the launch of Alexander Shulgin pages on several jazz social media sites on the NING platform. The profiles feature tracks from all three of the compilation's albums as well as videos, updates on Shulgin's music and sign-up to his newsletter.

NING SITES
* Smooth Jazz Space
* The Jazz Network Worldwide
* Washington DC Jazz Network
* Jazz and Bossa
* The Global Jazz Network

With inventive use of the Spanish nylon strung acoustic guitar as a main lead instrument, "Triptych. Shulgin's Songbook" conjures up sunsets in Spain and peaceful sunshine bathed fields swaying in the breeze. There is a blend of modern Chillout styles and some more Urban sounding Jazz tinged opuses on this album - music to have a warm bath in. This compilation is one for every Shulgin fan's collection, as well as those who simply enjoy the pleasant atmosphere it creates.

"Triptych. Shulgin's Songbook. Part I" is a fusion between jazz and easy listening, suitable for every situation - background music, cozying up with your lover, or just chilling out and relaxing. This is, of course, a tribute to the notable line-up of notable English instrumentalists, including guitarist Paul Drew, drummer John Howeels, keyboardist Simon Rushby, bassist Steve King, saxophonist Chris 'Beebe' Aldridge, and backing vocalist Laura Whittel. Recorded in spring 2008 at DWB Music record studio in the UK, the album was produced by young English producers Paul Drew, Greig Watts and Pete Barringer.

"Triptych. Shulgin's Songbook. Part II" - a piano album produced by Richard Niles and performed by well-known jazz multi-instrumentalist Gary Husband in a "minimalist" style. What makes the album most effective is the combination of Shulgin's strong compositions along with the creative interpretation of these compositions by Husband, complement each other and mesh into a strong album. The last track, entitled "Woman's Happiness Theme" features the guitar playing of Martin Taylor, a well-known British jazz guitarist, whose warm and clean sound adds a welcome and long-overdue new layer to the sound of the acoustic piano.

"Triptych. Shulgin's Songbook. Part III" - was made in a "smooth jazz" style, recorded together with the most famous worldwide jazz musicians: Billy Cobham, John Patitucci, Bob James, Bob Mintzer and others. The material was recorded during spring and summer of 2007 at New-York and London studios. The legendary Richard Niles, who before had worked with Luciano Pavarotti, Paul McCartney, Pat Matini, The Pet Shop Boys group, was a producer of the album.

About Alexander Shulgin
Alexander Shulgin is a leading composer, performer and executive in the new Russian music industry, having worked with such iconic artists as Valeria, Mumiy Troll, Dima Malikov, Gruppa.fm and many others. Mr. Shulgin owns and operates Familia Entertainment, a record label, and Familia Publishing, a publishing company.

Shulgin began his career with the legendary Russian rock band The Cruise (1983-1986), which sold 20 million copies of their first album in 1985. He went on the work on a series of international projects, from "The Taiga Symphony," a combination of Russian classic music with western rock-music performed by The Moscow Symphony Orchestra, to "Merry Christmas to the World", another ambitious East-West collaboration between Shulgin and BBC Worldwide. Shulgin is also a composer of music for films and TV, his songs appearing in films by Lukas Moodysson and Ken Russell, the TV music serial "Primadonna" as well as all the music for the first public TV channel "Spas" for which he composed.

Amy Speace has already won a loyal grass-roots fan base, thanks in large part to live performances that merge warmth, humor and emotional immediacy, and to a tireless touring schedule that's already taken her across the United States. She's also won considerable critical acclaim, with The Village Voice observing that Speace is "taking her Americana away from twangy contemplation toward tangy confrontation" and noting that she's "not another of those breathy would-be child poets, but a real singing writer of songs." Time Out New York stated, "Amy Speace plays sweet, twangy folk music with a clear voice and an innocent vulnerability," while The Nashville Scene noted that she "balances wry humor with open-hearted honesty." And renowned Nashville critic Robert K. Oermann, writing in Music Row, dubbed her a "new star." http://www.amyspeace.com
