Actress, Singer, Cynthia Basinet Comes Out To Support The Berkshire International Film Festival Premiere Of The Documentary, "Blue Gold"

New York, NY: Cynthia Basinet comes out to support the Ninth Annual Berkshire International Film Festival, (BIFF) premiere of "Blue Gold", a feature documentary the actress, singer appears in celebrates the cultural impact of American Blue jeans. Behind the designers and brands that cultivated an iconic Americana grit culture and the rugged work ethic of American miners. Through the artists and rock stars that created an iconic wearable art that transforms with every wear and how one unlikely garment ended up connecting us all.

Following vintage jeans hunter Eric Schrader around the world, "Blue Gold" searches for the reason we all wear blue mining pants of Levi Strauss. From fashion history and subculture aspiration to the lost tradition of American manufacturing, "Blue Gold" explores Americana in our globalized world, where cultural exchange and social responsibility demand greater transparency and inspire innovation.
