DJ_E.S.S. Drops That 'Bad Chic'

Damon J Snellgrove AKA DJ_E.S.S.

Indiana was the place of his birth. A young kid with a passion for music who had already acquired skills on the piano before he'd decided to pick up the Baritone Sax by the time he'd reached middle school, then later the Trombone before hitting the Tenor Sax and joining the school band. Much has been said about young people getting schooled in the Art of Music from a young age and how that sets the scene for a good grounding for a career in the industry as an artist. Well, DJ_E.S.S. has those credentials.

After locating to Orlando, he was mentored in the art of the Disc Jockey by a seasoned friend he was introduced to in 1998. This friend taught him the ropes in the woodshed for six months teaching him the necessary skills he needed to help him to secure a residency at Club 600 North in Daytona Beach and the rest as they say, is history...

Let me introduce you to a pulsating piece of up to date EDM.' This guy knows what's hot and current and makes no mistake letting you know that he does! We imagine 'Bad Chic' being pumped through Heavy Sound Systems across the Globe, driving clubbers into a frenzy with its no-nonsense, get-on-the-floor attitude. The lush female vocal is tight, with a really infectious lyric that just sticks in your head and won't let you loose and as you know, that's a good first sign of a track that has hit potential!

See for yourself...

MusicDish Review: "Back Slider" By Young Fortune

"Back Slider" by Fortune Empire Records founder and rap/hip hop/pop artist Young Fortune is a catchy and dance inducing hip hop song.

Full of heart, emotion and passion, this song could easily be played in both trendy, intimate bars and pumping clubs.

A song about the hardships of life, it tells of how life can go from good to bad. However, that you've always gotta get back to the grind and hustle through what you don't like to achieve success again. it is about being at the top of one's game then crashing down to the old flow of life, the "grind again"!

The song has a beat where you quickly become immersed in the world of Young Fortune. It makes you forgot your own personal dilemmas as you listen to the struggles of another.

Listen to this song when you need a pick me up. When you need some inspiration. And when you need a heart felt hip hop dance session!

Amaru Releases "The One"

Making his musical debut back in 2008 with the club track "Put Your Hands Up", which he recorded in Chicago, IL (USA), singer/songwriter and actor Amaru is back with his brand new single "The One"! Following the success of his sophomore hit, the US-number one single "I'm The One You Need" and his win in March 2015 at the Akademia Music Awards in Los Angeles, CA (USA), Amaru releases his brand new single today.

"I'm very excited about this new single", Amaru says. "While I wrote this song a couple of years ago, after re-writing certain parts I thought it was now ready for a proper release", he continues. Amaru describes his new single as a "perfect for a sunset at the beach" kind of song. "The One" by Amaru has that dreamy, mysterious yet romantic vibe and that panflute in the latter part of the song adds to that!

The accompanying video for Amaru's new single will make its debut on the 28th. of November 2015. "The concept for the video is very simple", Amaru explains. "It's an ode to a love interest and I present them with this "video message", so to speak, in which I express my feelings and profess my love and in doing so adding a little "sugar and spice to make everything nice", he laughs.

Amaru chose to release his new single on this date specifically in honour of his native country's Independence Day. "I'm not able to visit my country often and I do miss my family tremendously, but this is my tribute to them and to let know that they're never too far from my heart", Amaru continues. Amaru, born in the Republic of Suriname (South America) and residing in The Netherlands, celebrates his third independently released single with this release on his own label Amaru Music.

Amaru's music, including his new single "The One", is available on various outlets of digital music and his previous single "I'm The One You Need" is also available on a limited edition CD-single via his website.
