Branding in the Streaming Era

Since the dawn of the record business, understanding how audiences react to a song has been crucial to A&R and artist development. Streaming's move to mainstream, and the unparalleled richness of its feedback through data, is giving artists, producers, managers and others nearly realtime understanding of what's working -- and what's not -- when developing an artist’s career.

This panel discussion offers an insider's view of how partnerships between streaming platforms and creators are changing how a song connects with audiences on a global level, how understanding that data is changing the creative process, and what artists need to know about data to be successful.
