Oklahoma Rappers Knuckles and Rell Lo have taken the music industry by storm. Currently working on their new EP “The Campaign” this dynamic duo is giving a new meaning to the term Hip Hop.
Knuckles, aka Steven Nuckolls, a Caucasian, cowboy rapper from Lawton, Oklahoma, wrote his first rap at 13. While serving five years in prison Knuckles wrote songs about his life and his stay in prison. Knuckles also had seven poems published and was nominated by the International Society of Poetry for Poet of the Year.
Rell Lo, aka Jarell Lusby, also a rapper from Lawton, Oklahoma, wrote his first rap at age 8. Rell Lo later made his first mixtape in 2007 with a group called “The Prospects” Rell Lo lost his little brother Octavious and has continued to write music since his loss.
Knuckles and Rell Lo have stories to tell through their music and hopes of one day being a large impact on peoples’ lives.
