The 19th Annual USA Songwriting Competition's deadline is fast approaching. Entries need to be entered by May 30th or earlier.

Winning songs will receive radio airplay in United States and Canada. Entrants vie for a top prize of $50,000 worth of cash and merchandise such as cool gear from Gibson Guitars, Sony, D'Addario Strings, PreSonus, Audio-Technica and more. Also, have your winning songs played on radio! Enter in Pop, Rock/Alt, Folk, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Instrumental, Lyrics Only, etc.

WINNERS HITTING THE CHARTS
American Authors, the winner of the 18th Annual USA Songwriting Competition hit #1 on the Billboard Charts and went Platinum, selling over 1 million copies. The song was also featured in the hit movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty". The song is written by Zac Barnett, Dave Rublin, Matt Sanchez, James Adam Shelley, Aaron Accetta and Shep Goodman.

They entered the USA Songwriting Competition as unsigned and independent but came out winning the top prize, getting signed to signed to The Island Def Jam Music Group and hitting the charts. American Authors is an American indie rock band based in Brooklyn, New York, and who are signed to The Island Def Jam Music Group.

They won overall grand prize and first prize (Rock/Alternative). Their debut album debut at #15 on the Billboard 200 Album Charts.

USA Songwriting Competition has a long history of having winners getting recording and publishing contracts, have their songs placed on the charts as well as having their songs placed on film and television.
