MusicDish Review: "Pirate Booty" By Clint Perry And The Boo Hoo Crew

Coming out just before "Pirate Week", the children's group Clint Perry and the Boo Hoo Crew are releasing "Shake Your Pirate Booty". The sound of the ocean's crashing waves and seagulls the song add an interesting flavor along with guitars. A pirate's accordion sets the scene as Clint Perry begins singing about a pirate's life... "It's mostly work / It's hardly ever fun." As the flutes join him on the chorus, Perry instructs the kids how to dance like a pirate. The sound of a "Clang clang" from the bell kicks It to the next verse, with drums keeping a steady rock beat, and the electric bass fills in just right with the background vocal harmonies. Fans of this group will have lots of fun on this song. The good news is that "Shake Your Pirate Booty" will be on their soon to be released sophomore CD! Clint and the Boo Hoo Crew will be bringing smiles to the children of San Diego with upcoming concerts. Be sure to check out their website for details.
