Alex Katz, frontman for Katz Company, the hot Chicago rock-pop collective bearing his name, announces his new single release entitled "Change Our Place" will be available for free via digital download from www.katz-company.com on Tuesday, June 5th, 2012. The single will also be available for streaming through Spotify and for purchase through CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon.com and other online distributors.
Alex Katz and Katz Company will release one song per month from June to September for their latest project, Katz Company Presents: Variety Pop. "Releasing one song each month keeps me creative and gives our listeners new material on a consistent basis. We recorded these songs in my home studio rather than working with a producer this time around and had "Change Our Place" mastered by Ron McMaster at Capitol Studios and Mastering in Hollywood, CA. These songs are, without a doubt, the best work we've released thus far."
