Gulf Coast Group Johnny John & The Schemin' Dreamers Release Debut Powerhouse AOR EP

The new release, Let There Be Drums! from brand new Gulf Coast recording project Johnny John and the Schemin' Dreamers proudly goes against the music trends of modernity.

The brainchild of drummer Johnny Harrelson, featuring Florida guitarist Joe Pizzolato, bassist Adrian Howland, keyboardist Cody Collum and veteran Organist Red Young (Eric Burdon, Linda Ronstadt, Freddy Fender); Engineered by Rick Hirsch (Wet Willie, Greg Allman, Bonnie Bramlett), Mixed and Mastered by Jack Miele (Blues Traveler, John Oates); Let There Be Drums! is an exhibition of progressive musicianship.

Fans of Gary Moore, Cozy Powell, Frank Marino, and Jeff Beck will certainly enjoy this record.

The burning question for such a release is why? Drummer-Producer Johnny Harrelson states that:

"Initially I wanted to put something out that said this kind of music is still viable and worth doing. I wanted this to be a testament to the musicianship of the era.

Yet, there are many other reasons too. It was worth letting everyone know that there are some good young players here on the Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast. We were very privileged to have Rick Hirsch agree to engineer it. His insights from the era we touched on were primary. He is a primary source! We were very excited to work with him.

I also wanted to reach an under-served audience. We still hear songs like Led Boots on the radio; so there are still folks out there who like this music. This release has a lot to with the reverence and respect for the guys who made this music famous. If a few guys in their 20s and 30s can bring it to a grassroots audience, so much the better. That's how things get started. We need more musicians making music like this.

Most importantly, this is my first release and I wanted to begin with what I know best. Playing the drums."

Let There Be Drums! is available on all music platforms and on 10" vinyl.

Moonshine Bandits Announce Headlining Tour With Angels Cut & Pruno

Central California outlaws The Moonshine Bandits are about to get back out on the road and raising some hell on their headlining tour with Angels Cut and California rapper Pruno throughout October and the rest of the year. The Moonshine Bandits continue to tour in support of their new album "Blacked Out", which debuted inside the Top 15 on Billboard's Country Albums chart at #13, cracked the Billboard Top 200, and simultaneously debuted in the top 10 on the Rap Chart.

"We are stoked to be bringing our artist Pruno to rock these shows because the Shiner Nation loves his music! We are also bringing Angel's cut who is a hot up & coming Northern California rock band that has a badass chick lead singer," commented Tex. "These upcoming stops on the tour are always big crowds full of energy so we expect it to be loud and rowdy, just how we love it."

Long before people figured out that country and rap had a lot in common, the Moonshine Bandits released their genre-blending album, "Whiskey & Women," and took the world of outlaw music by storm. The group's blue-collar work ethic and unwavering persistence has led to over 19 million views on the ShinerTV YouTube channel – collectively over 30 million views on YouTube - while their video for "My Kind of Country" peaked at #1 on CMT Pure. Connecting with fans on all levels, Moonshine Bandits have built a solid "Shiner Nation" of loyal fans, developed their own brand of Shiner Barbeque Seasoning, Beef Jerky and legal Moonshine.

"Blacked Out" is the most adventurous MSB album ever. With its crunchy guitar riffs and southern rock swagger, "Blacked Out" is a soundtrack to the real lives of Bird and Tex. Their friendship was forged in all-night keg parties deep in the country; their music grew from what they'd experienced together as restless young men who refuse to apologize for their patriotism, who value family and freedom and above all who feel the calling to celebrate those many Americans who share their beliefs.

Southern Rock Act To Release New Single

Outlaws & Moonshine the Indiana based southern rock artist is set to release their debut single and video titled 'WHISKEY' on May 12th. The single will be distributed digitally and is already available for pre-order across all major digital platforms. The video will be released through Marvment Entertainment and Vevo.

Hailing as 'new southern rock', their signature sound comes from vocalist/guitarist and main songwriter Beau Van who crafts his songs after everyday life experiences. Beau’s unique approach is to use a balance of old school southern rock with a bit of today’s country rock and a whole lot of guitar. The end results are strong yet memorable songs that hook you and have you singing right along by the second chorus.

The band has recently aligned themselves with major industry players solidifying their brand by signing a sponsorship deal with Coldcock Whiskey in which Coldcock states; "We love you guys and would love to have you work with us".

Outlaws and Moonshine also has endorsement deals with Amedia Cymbals, Pig Hog Cables, Queen City Drums, Spector Guitars, and Xcel Drumsticks.

The band heads back into the studio to finish up their debut E.P. later this month with plans to support the release with a summer tour. Outlaws & Moonshine are in talks with a national country artist to tour as direct support.
