IQzic Selected as a 2015 Innovation Summit 'Tech Company To Watch'

IQzic, the innovative music discovery platform dedicated to connecting the people of the music world, was selected from a large group of applicant companies by the Connecticut Technology Council as a 'Tech Company To Watch', and will participate in the ninth annual Innovation Summit on November 10th in Hartford, CT.

"We are thrilled to be recognized as an innovator for our unique and promising platform which truly empowers fans while simultaneously recognizing recording artists based on merit rather than hype", said Jim Hodson, founder of IQzic. "Because our platform rewards those with an ear for discovering great tunes before they become popular, we feel being discovered as a 'Tech Company To Watch' is a telling twist of fate on our journey to success."

IQzic scores music listeners by calculating their "Music IQ" and rewarding music lovers for identifying great music before it becomes popular; additionally, the community benefits because the playoff results generate organic playlists curated by the collective tastes of those with earned reputations for finding great music.

IQzic currently has several prize contests underway. Iqzic is free and open for all to enjoy discovering the most recent releases at http://iqzic.com.

About IQ Holdings LLC dba IQzic: IQzic was founded in 2014 with a mission to enable more artists to create great music alongside those who believe in them most. The idea was born during a pool party thrown for a local independent singer when founder Jim Hodson was talking to several sophisticated investors who were bragging about their ability to pick stock winners, but had no real way of showing who was first. The conversation later transitioned to music with the same shortcoming. With previous experience in markets and decision theory, Jim Hodson founded IQzic with the notion that the fan-artist connection has mutual value that transcends a monetary transaction and can be structured in a way to greater benefit the artist and the fan.
