Mexican Ape-Lord To Release Music Video


CHERRY HILL, NJ - Mexican Ape-Lord, the Boston-based thrash metal band behind the critically-acclaimed 2014 album The Late Heavy Bombardment, is poised to release a hard-hitting and gritty music video. On the afternoon of Thursday February 19, 2015 fans will finally be able to view the long-awaited visual component of Mexican Ape-Lord's artistry. The official music video for "The Misadventures of Black Jesus", the powerful first track from The Late Heavy Bombardment, will be released on YouTube, DailyMotion, Muzu.tv, MyVideo and other popular outlets.

Formed in 2013 by Meliah Rage guitarist and co-founder Anthony Nichols, and The Bags' vocalist and bassist Jon Hardy, Mexican Ape-Lord plays a unique, edgy and intelligent brand of heavy metal. Their debut album The Late Heavy Bombardment, a 10 song powerhouse, was released on June 17, 2014 by Unable Records. Maximum Metal raved that the album is "grooves galore from Meliah Rage guitarist Anthony Nicols" and Bravewords called the album "chock full of glorious galloping double-bass, punchy rhythms and soaring leads."

With their album The Late Heavy Bombardment becoming the talk of the metal scene, Mexican Ape-Lord has decided to pile on. Fans and critics alike will be delighted by the professionally produced video for one of their most recognized songs. The video was produced by Branden James Maxham and Brad Piche of Omnidawn Productions. On Thursday February 19, 2015 the official music video for "The Misadventures of Black Jesus" will launch on video platforms everywhere.
