Trevin Hunte From NBC The Voice Season 3 Releases New Song "Rise"

The Voice Season 3 Finalist, 20- year- old Trevin Hunte's song "Rise" is featured in the movie "From The Rough" starring Taraji P. Henson, LeToya Luckett, Tom Felton, and Michael Clarke Duncan (in his last role).

The release of "Rise" on Trevin Hunte's Instagram page with over 17,000 followers, made "Rise" the top ranked most talked about on Instagram ratings pages.

Since NBC's The Voice, Team Ceelo alumni Trevin Hunte has moved to LA, he has lost 60 pounds and has completed a Fan EP exclusively for his fans on the Pledge Music fundraising site. The huge following he built from his performances on "The Voice" had made his www.pledgemusic.com fundraising campaign for his Fan EP wildly successful, exceeding his financial goal by 15 percent. Hunte is currently working on his second EP which will be comprised of pop, R&B songs.

Hunte's music can also be heard in hit television shows like NCIS: Los Angeles, and FX's Legit. Hunte has performed the national anthem at the Dodger's baseball game, and the Heat/Cavaliers basketball game. He has also taken the stage at Stevie Wonder's Grammy Party, The Mint, The Hotel Cafe, The Roxy, Pre- Oscar party at the Bel Air Hotel.

"From the Rough" is a sports drama film based on the true story of Catana Starks, a former Tennessee State Tigers swim coach, who became the first woman ever to coach a college men's golf team.
