Jack Skuller is the 2014 recipient of the Holly Prize, an award made possible by the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Songmasters as a tribute to the legacy of Buddy Holly, a Hall of Fame inductee. Skuller says, "Buddy Holly left such a huge mark on everything I know about music and I am beyond honored and thrilled to receive such a prestigious award."

In recognition of receiving this distinguished award, indie label Mint 400 Records will reissue Skuller's EP "Tell Me Your Heart" on June 24, 2014. American Songwriter Magazine called the title track "analog, vintage, and cool, but with a sincerity missing from a lot of the ironic throwback recordings of the hipster sphere."

Skuller's 2010 debut single "Love Is A Drum" on Bar/None garnered rave reviews in the press and brought him to the attention of Radio Disney executives who gave him the opportunity to tour the U.S. and meet new fans around the country. Now 18, Skuller is preparing to release a new single later this year on Mint 400 Records produced by GRAMMY nominated Joel Hamilton who has worked with Pretty Lights, the Black Keys and Tom Waits.
