Dream rock duo, Maheekats, has released a new psychedelic epic song called Eureka. Fans are describing it as "a masterpiece".

"We knew this song was going to be tough to record." says Clara Hembree, lead singer of the band. "Because of all of the intricacies involved with this piece, we had to build the arrangement one instrument at a time."

The song dives back in time and captures Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" to use towards the finale of the nearly seven minute journey.

"We're really glad people are catching on to this song. It has a vibe of its own." Clara adds.

Psychedelic One-Man-Band Debuts Single From 2016 EP

Psychedelic music producer Joey Arkane keeps his hands on the mixing board while stepping into the vocal booth to deliver his "Celestial Junkie" EP. Debuting his vocals and writing, Arkane handled the entire production and sound engineering duties for the project. The listener can expect to hear a hybrid of several musical sounds like Psychedelic Pop, Funk, and R&B intertwined with new age Electro music with a neo psychedelia vibe, while incorporating the retro and vintage styling's of 1970's /1980's.

"Nobody But You", the first single from this EP, was inspired by a time where Joey looked around his life and realized all he had was her. The song came to him at a very quiet moment in his apartment. She sat there quietly doing homework while Joey took time to admire her. The song immediately formulated and the record was composed, arranged, and recorded within 30 minutes. Wanting to capture raw and authentic emotions, Joey convinced her to record the vocals for the record. His Celestial Junkie EP is scheduled for release February 10th, 2016.

Signed to his label, Hit Academy Music (H.A. Music, LLC), Joey's sound falls under the indie/psychedelic pop subgenres. It can be compared to Retro, Vintage, Electro, Funk, and R&B.

Joey Arkane has about 8 years of music production experience. He has worked with the marketing team at Bad Boy World Wide Music Group, the A&R department at Jive Records with senior A&Rs, Wayne Williams and Larry Campbell, and interned at Atlantic Record's for the Bad Boy distributed label president, Harve Pierre. In addition, Mr. Arkane was selected to produce a project for Michael Biven's "Beano Boys" recording project

BeThisBell Selected for CMJ Music Marathon 2015

Oklahoma-based psychedelic/punk/indie rock band BeThisBell (www.bethisbell.com) is honored to announce that it has been officially chosen as a showcase performer at the esteemed and influential upcoming CMJ Music Marathon 2015 conference (http://www.cmj.com/marathon). The band was hand picked out of thousands of bands across the country and Internationally. CMJ, celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, is New York City's most expansive music event with a decades-long tradition of pioneering the best new music from all over the world and curating top talent in emerging culture.

BeThisBell is led by local Humboldt County, California singer/songwriter/guitarist Beth Bell (www.BethBell.rocks), a multi-talented, multi-medium trans artist whose various music releases, artist collaborations and recently published books have earned her increasing praise from critics and fans around the world. Born as a young boy named Bill in Columbus, GA, Beth grew up in the US and Europe through school, college and law school as boy. And now, as a woman, Beth is an accomplished musician with a library of diverse yet equally compelling recordings. Beth's gift as a songwriter and infectious live performances mix elements of both genders. Joining Beth as part of the BeThisBell touring band and at CMJ are Blaise Thompson (Lead Guitars, Vocals), Justin Hobart-Brown (Bass Guitars, Vocals) and Brian Rundus (Drums).

Southwest Psych Rockers Strings Of Atlas To Release 5 Song E.P. Co-Produced By Charles Godfrey "In A Better World" Is Scheduled For Release May 15th 2015

"This session was one of the most challenging of my career" states Atlas Cage, guitarist/ songwriter for the psychedelic urban punk band as they put together their 6th studio release. "Up until now, all of my musical ability had been self taught, so I had never used scales or vocal techniques such as singing to the melody on keyboard using sounds rather than words."

Having recently graced the cover of Mix Magazine,Sonic Ranch's engineer/ producer Charles Godfrey (Devil Driver, Sublime) was brought aboard by the band to bring out the sound they were looking for. "The songs came out great" Godfrey states. "There is a high energy that feels like a mix of Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains, and White Zombie. Everything you need to have a great listening experience is there."

Dedication has always been in the forefront for Cage and former Archetyped bassist Edward C, putting all of their efforts into the upcoming E.P. Godfrey quickly took notice of this at the beginning stages of their recording sessions. "Either you're in it for all the long hours or you're not. It's not easy to be in this industry with current demands, it takes a lot of drive AND sacrifice."

Strings of Atlas has opened for such artists as Nick McGalis and Guitar Slim, and have also had their music featured in three short films and a soundtrack for the movie "The Edison Bomb." "Cage is also known as a stunt man and has been invited yearly to the G4TV show "Ninja Warrior" (now known as American Ninja Warrior). Transference New Album "The Navigators" Now Available Worldwide
