"This session was one of the most challenging of my career" states Atlas Cage, guitarist/ songwriter for the psychedelic urban punk band as they put together their 6th studio release. Today, the band announces the release of their latest EP, "God Willin' And The Creek Don't Rise" (Route 3 Records/Carson Entertainment) and after a full summer of recording, the end-result comes at a time when Country Music is finding its roots. Born out of respected rock journeymen and heralded session players, The New Black 7 was founded by lead vocalist/guitarist Tory Stoffregen and guitarist Jason K. Herman who were soon joined by drummer Brentt James Acrement and rounded out by bassist Dan Dryden. Their direction grew out of an organic love of country music's gloried past along with their admiration of current country crossovers like Blackberry Smoke and Eric Church. "God Willin' And The Creek Don't Rise" is a follow-up to 2012's "Heartbreaks And Hangovers", yielding the single "Crazy All Over Me", which garnered substantial radio and video play.

"God Willin'" was recorded at Shell Rock, Iowa's Chandler Limited Studios, in which the band utilized former Abbey Road studio gear to help give their sound a rich, beefy, vintage meets modern production. Co-produced with Wade Goeke, the band was able to blend hard-hitting country killers with a bit of somber moments while retaining continuity throughout the recording. Their blood line of rock and roll came into full effect with many of the tracks retaining a classic rock vibe throughout, yet "God Willin'" is knee deep in Southern blues, Midwest electric swing and stone cold Country twang all held together with Stoffregen's distilled voice and stout harmonies. "We're ecstatic about the future," states Stoffregen. "With every show, every relationship we build with fans and those in the industry and every recording – things are falling into place in the right way, at the right time for us."

R&B/Pop Talent Amira Releases Debut Single, "Sunny Day" From Upcoming Self-Titled EP

Angelina Lavo Gets Risque This Summer

Up-and-coming artist, performer songwriter and internet sensation Angelina Lavo unleashes her debut EP, Risque this Tuesday on ITunes and all good digital stores.

Risque is considered by Angelina Lavo to be, "a musical flirtation that gives a little bit of everything to everybody."

The EP features production from industry heavyweights, Omen (Usher, Lil Wayne, Drake and Fabolous) and Lu Diaz (Pitbull, DJ Khaled, Jason Mraz and J-Lo). Omen recently produced, "What Happened to U," on Usher's latest album Looking 4 Myself. The multi-platinum producer commented that, "Angelina Lavo is definitely a name to look out for."

Angelina has received thousands of followers and fans leading up to the launch of Risque. The first track on the genre bending EP, "Circus Act" is on rotation on KTU, and debuted at #15 on Reverb Nation.

The fourth track off of Risque, "Like You Did Before," shows Angelina's take on heart break as she shares her experience with listeners.

In contrast to the other songs on Risque,"I Can't Believe," shows Angelina's natural talent in upbeat electronic dance music. Angelina is reported to be working with the track's producer, Lu Diaz, on more material for her up-and-coming album.

Angelina and legendary rapper Twista wrap the EP in true Risque fashion with, "Cotton Candy." Sources close to Angelina's team have confirmed that they are working on a music video featuring both artists.

Siberian Strummers Two Chords Break Cover With 'Y Should I Care', Their Intense Debut EP

Liverpool, San Francisco, Nashville, Seattle: Some cities are writ large in pop music forever. If it has twenty more musicians like Anton Serov, the next one could be Tomsk, Russia. Anton and his band, Two Chords, whose self-produced debut EP was released this month, are Siberians from the far reaches of the Russian Federation, living closer to Mongolia than mainland Europe. Winters bring twenty-below-zero temperatures and the band travel hundreds of miles between gigs. Maybe it's not surprising that this icy crucible of a place has forged Two Chords into a formidable rock unit. 'Break Through', the first song on the Y Should I Care EP, is a testament to the sometimes unforgiving life of the determined rock musician. "This is the message for everyone who dreams to make something in his life," says lead singer and songwriter Anton. "The message is simple - keep doing, don't look around, don't listen to those who are interested in seeing you lose." Anton writes and sings in English, making Two Chords' music accessible to Western listeners. The band say that the Internet has enlightened people in Siberia to great rock 'n' roll music from all over the world. This globalisation of music makes Tomsk just as likely to be the origin of the next great rock band as New York or London. Anton is joined by three Tomsk natives, drummer Yuri Kustov, bassist Yuri Latipov and guitarist Denis Ivashkov. The band's style is a clever amalgam of opposing elements. They deftly weave together the heavy riffing of their rhythm section and flashy, melodic lead guitars. The band are also known for their versatility with different performance styles, playing both raging electric concerts and intimate acoustic gigs. The other two tracks on Two Chords' EP fit in with the band's plan to make simple songs that rock. 'Y Should I Care' is a funny rant about a certain youth fashion afflicting Russia as much as everywhere else. "This is about a young girl who trying to act like someone she is not," Anton says. "Being so impressed with those photos of Suicide Girls she forgot how to be yourself." 'Promises We've Made' is a more emotional number, also based on personal experience. The song is about how the end of a passionate relationship leaves you barely on speaking terms with someone with whom you were once incredibly close.
