Red Filter Sounds is proud to present Echoes of Industry, a new album of recordings by Zen2u. Established in 2015, Red Filter Sounds' mission is to bring new talent to listeners around the world with an original vision for various genres of ambient electronic music.

Forrest Old of Red Filter Sounds states: "As the first compendium of electronica pieces published by Red Filter Sounds, Echoes of Industry represents a stepping off point with a new take on downtempo ambient electronic music. As a producer of electronic music for 25 years, Zen2u is embarking on a new creative path in ambient "analog sounds" music."

Zen2u states: "Zen2u works with an analog oriented palette of machine made noise. It is hoped the listener taps into this imperfect flow of sound and finds a forgotten human moment in these 'echoes of industry'."

Smoke Season Announces Signing To CAA

Leading entertainment and sports agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has signed Los Angeles indie-electronic band, Smoke Season. The talent agency is known for its prestigious roster of actors, athletes and musicians.

Smoke Season will embark on a tour this summer to support the release of their new EP, Ouroboros. The agency will play an impactful role in the release of the accompanying Ouroboros' short film, created with production company, APLUSFILMZ, (Kendrick Lamar, Talib Kwelli, Murs).

Smoke Season formed in 2013 and shortly after, the duo released their debut EP, Signals and their follow-up EP, Hot Coals Cold Souls. DJ_E.S.S. Drops That 'Bad Chic'

Indiana was the place of his birth. A young kid with a passion for music who had already acquired skills on the piano before he'd decided to pick up the Baritone Sax by the time he'd reached middle school, then later the Trombone before hitting the Tenor Sax and joining the school band. Much has been said about young people getting schooled in the Art of Music from a young age and how that sets the scene for a good grounding for a career in the industry as an artist. Well, DJ_E.S.S. has those credentials.

After locating to Orlando, he was mentored in the art of the Disc Jockey by a seasoned friend he was introduced to in 1998. This friend taught him the ropes in the woodshed for six months teaching him the necessary skills he needed to help him to secure a residency at Club 600 North in Daytona Beach and the rest as they say, is history...

Let me introduce you to a pulsating piece of up to date EDM.' This guy knows what's hot and current and makes no mistake letting you know that he does! We imagine 'Bad Chic' being pumped through Heavy Sound Systems across the Globe, driving clubbers into a frenzy with its no-nonsense, get-on-the-floor attitude. From the throbbing drums to the fresh vocals of newcomer Drew Patrick comes a dynamic mix of pop and electronic dance music destined to move the body, melt the heart, and set fire to the soul.



Drew Patrick's single "We Generate A Spark" will be released Friday at a private party and available that same day on iTunes, Amazon, and other online digital outlets.



"I'm so excited about this song. I want to be a positive energy for people and a spark of inspiration," he says, excitement bubbling from his enthusiasm.



At only 18 years old, the talented singer and songwriter has created an ambitious inferno of lyrics and song destined to connect with all ages. "It's a song for anyone who has ever been in love and felt the undeniable attraction that begins with a single spark," he says.



That spark rapidly spirals: "You come, my one desire. You lit my heart on fire ... The sparks ignite the shadows, no need to be afraid of the dark - we generate a spark ... You looked into my eyes, tore away my disguise ...."



Patrick describes his music as: "Very dancey ... Disney-esque."



It's like a blend of Justin Bieber's and Selena Gomez' youthful enthusiasm and current sounds mixed with the dynamic thrill of Patrick's idol, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.



Patrick's producer, Robert Eibach, of Del Oro Music in Studio City, says: "I had a great time working with Drew on his debut single, because not only is he a unique and talented young artist, but he has a fresh and upbeat approach to writing catchy and relatable songs."



Patrick began writing music at the age of 12. He moved from Florida to Los Angeles when he was 14, with his mom and younger sister, Valerie, in order to pursue his dreams of music and acting.



He began with musical theater and modeling, but also managed to combine his love of the arts with academics and participation in a variety of athletics.



"I played every sport. If I do something I'm going to do it well and enjoy it," he says.



After graduating, in June, from Brighton Hall, a private school for acting and music professionals in Burbank, he opted to defer the college education he plans to eventually pursue, and go after his dream of performing and recording his songs.



According to Patrick, collaborating with his producer, Eibach on "You Generate A Spark" has enabled him to grow as a musician and enhanced his abilities.



"I'm so comfortable working with Robert. He can sculpt my songs and he lets me have a lot of creativity," says Patrick.



Despite his youth, the blonde California teen writes and sings for all people of all ages.

"I relate to all people, because everyone has felt this, this undeniable attraction," he says. "It's a feeling not just I have felt. It's universal."

Souza Brings The Vibes Of The Lost Remains Of Atlantis To EDM

Azores Islands are one of the World’s Most Unique Travel Destinations according to Forbes Magazine, and the hometown of the rising EDM DJ SOUZA. Many believes in Azores you can find the lost remains of Atlantis, all that vibe and all the mist of the volcanic activity inspired SOUZA to release his hot new single "Come Back to You" with the north american singer Thomas Daniel.

The recordings and production of "Come Back to You" was made between Azores and the United Sates. The result got SOUZA very happy with his track and he said "the track was written thinking of the amazing Azores Islands in the middle of Atlantic Ocean and also the feeling of missing this land when you have to fly out. The lyrics reflects exactly that and also Thomas Daniel delivered an awesome performance".

SOUZA has been around since 2011 and for the last six years SOUZA has been DJing and honing in on his craft, taking audio engineering courses in Lisbon and in Amsterdam at SAE Institute. SOUZA produces an array of genres within EDM, making him a multi-talented and coveted DJ in the Azores Islands where he resides. All his work was recognized recently by his homeland City Hall Mayor, and to SOUZA was granted the Medal of Honor in the category of Youth and Culture.

Unlike many DJs in this day and age, he prides himself on making his fans feel welcome in his live sets. Playing in festivals and clubs around Portugal, The Netherlands and Spain, he had already opened for Top 100 DJMag dj’s like Porter Robinson, Wolfpack or Diego Miranda.

"Come Back to You" will be released by the end of June at Vidisco, haves already exclusive preview at Soundcloud and from July on as well on all other portals like Spotify, Beatport or iTunes. The track will be released with a club and a radio edit.

Storm Maverick Has An Angel

Storm Maverick made his debut in the EDM music scene in 2012. He is happy to say that he still is part of the indies and is feeling better then ever. That is very evident with his new single called "My Angel".

11 Months, 11 Electronic Music Releases By Worldwide Groove Corporation

After working tirelessly for the last 11 months, Kurt Goebel and Ellen Tift have kept on task toward their goal of delivering one new electronic music release a month for a year. Worldwide Groove Corporation's penultimate release in their Year of the Groove combines cinematic strings, electronic synths, and deep metaphorical lyrics calling humanity to a higher purpose. The new song "Human", penned and performed by Tift, has their trademark sophistication combined with epic orchestral elements that keep the listener hooked until the song's dramatic end.

"I wrote this purely from my own creative inspiration," says Tift. "After reading so many headlines and thinking 'oh the humanity', I just needed to get out my angst." So she did what many songwriters do and worked it out in song. "This is a refreshing break from writing for clients and specific song pitches," says Tift. "Most of the time I don't get the luxury of just writing for myself." That is not the only reason this song is special to Worldwide Groove Corporation, as the recording also features background vocals by many of Ellen Tift's family members, ranging in age from 8 to 72. "We took our laptop and microphone with us at Christmas and set up a mini recording studio in my parents' basement," says Tift. Exposed pink insulation served for sound absorption and a Playskool desk was their work surface. All in all, nine of her family members lent their voices to this track, none of whom are professional vocalists. "It wasn't about getting pristine vocals," says Tift,"the whole message of the song is about human beings loving one another, and I wanted the people I love most in this world to be the voices on this recording. I'm thrilled with the result."

Their next release will mark the end of their Year of the Groove, and they are saying the final installment in this series will be unlike anything else they've done in the project. "Without giving too much away, I'll just say that what is coming next has been in the works for at least 4 years and it will show the diversity of our production styles more than anything else we've done," says Goebel.

Aussie Couple Ray Ramon & Jenni Ramon Win Big In Hollywood

History was made last night in Hollywood California as Australia's Singer Songwriters Ray Ramon and Jenni Ramon's "Dance All Night" won the "Best Dance Song" title at the Annual Indie Music Channel Awards 2015.

The City of stars hosted the biggest Indie Music Awards 2015 where artists from around the world gathered.

Venue was the world's famous Whiskey A Go Go.

Dance all night is a song written by Ray and Jenni about how they met and both artists decided to replay that part of their lives deciding to share it with the world.

DJ Andromeda of the United Kingdom produced the electronic dance music under the Ray Ramon Records Label, with Ray Ramon as Executive Producer.

The song's music video team Australia's Newcastle based Little Man Productions are also great contributors to the success of the song namely Stuart Glover, Chris Hornby and Todd Davies.

Dance All Night (Feat. Jenni Ramon) was number 1 on "The Kings of spins" Radio Campaign upon release and currently receiving massive airplay on various Radio and Television stations around the world.
