Rock recording artist Frank Palangi has been no stranger to performing, recording and working his way to have his voice heard. Palangi fuels a feeding frenzy of positive rock. With his self quote "I have no plan b on backing down on my dreams." Palangi knows his career path and image he wants to portray. He has shared stages opening for national acts 3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, Candlebox, Aaron Lewis (Staind singer), FUEL, TRAPT and many more with making music his full time profession.

Last year his latest single Break These Chains released, produced by Brian Craddock from the band Daughtry. It won an Akademia Music Award and came into the semi-finals of the Unsigned Only Contest.com. He's been nominated previously for an L.A Music Award and in his home town area winning Best in the Region, and Metroland Magazine acoustic artist.

MusicDish Review: Acoustic Juice - "Purple Sky"

Acoustic Juice releases their new single "Purple Sky" which is part of their twenty-seven song catalogue. All of their tracks are recorded in their own studio where they use instruments such as a bucket for percussion, guitar, vocals, and violin.

In their song "Purple Sky," Acoustic Juice proves to be true to their acoustic rock sound. The contrast between the guitars, drums, and voice is smoothly blended. "Purple Sky" projects well blended down to earth vibes producing a feel good type of sound. In the beginning of the song, one can listen to hints of what will happen in the middle of the song. This comes in the form of an arpeggiated hummed chord. The use of imagery is apparent in lyrics such as "I can taste the colors through the rain." This track is not only part of acoustic rock but it also contains a jazz influence through the use of scatting towards the middle of the song. Everything comes together with the catchy hook of "Woah, the birds won’t fly, until you paint my love a purple sky."

All in all, "Purple Sky" is a great feel good piece. It is so smoothly blended that it goes along well with a nicely blended cup of coffee.

"Nights Like These" Album From Doug Osborne To Be Released September 4, 2015

Nights Like These is an all-new 12-song album. "These songs come straight from my heart, and I'm very proud of these recordings that take me back to my acoustic roots with unprecedented quality and some great guests." Nights Like These features the title song, the moody instrumental Zar-Ptak, and a cover of Lucinda Williams' Burning Bridges. Song styles include Singer/Songwriter balladry, Americana, Folk and Acoustic Rock. Radio and podcast formats include AAA, Modern AC, Roots, and Americana.

Nights Like These is the fourth album from Doug Osborne's project to release ten albums over the next few years, standing beside his collaboration with Casey Fallen. Special guests include Kristen King on Drums, Howard Weisbrot on Drums, John Kibler (We Are The West) on Acoustic Bass, Pop Cautious recording artist Devin O'Rourke (Punch Drunks) on background vocals, and Bruce Dumes on piano. Doug sings all songs, wrote all except for Burning Bridges, played acoustic and electric guitar, cello, electric bass, keyboards, harmonica, banjo, and percussion, as well as recording, producing, mixing and mastering the album.

Doug has played on stages all across America, from The Paradise, Bunrattys and The Rat in Boston, to The Whiskey, Troubadour and Club Lingerie in Los Angeles, with shows planned in the Los Angeles soon. His recordings have been played on radio from WBCN, WERS and WFNX in Boston to ChirpRadio.org in Chicago, and KCRW, KXLU, and LA Talk Radio in Los Angeles.
