About the Artists:

Track 1: "All I Need" - Winner of Emergenza (Switzerland), Skinny Fresh is on the rise with salient lyrics, impressive flows, diversified beats and a new interpreted, millennial-flavored boom bap that has landed him on the watch-list of several labels. Skinny Fresh was discovered by Ives Irie of Delinquent Habits. Impressed by the skill and passion of the young Swiss lyricist, Ives Irie added Skinny Fresh to the Delinquent Habits European album tour. As the opening act, Skinny Fresh won over fans around the world.

Track 2: "Make It By"- This Queen City quartet of indie surf rockers was formed in 2016 by a group of friends looking to blend indie rock and pop with a dash of surf music. The name Coastal Club was inspired by the group's best memories of spending time at the beach with friends and family. While based in landlocked Ohio, there is a longing for the coast found in their romantic beach tunes. Their fun, reminiscent sound falls somewhere between bands like Hippo Campus and Vampire Weekend. Coastal Club released their self-titled debut EP in 2017.

Track 3: "Friends" - The Huffington Post states "Flach's songs and his voice are mesmerizing. You have to listen." Driven by his fresh fusion of alt-country, indie rock and Americana, Hudson Valley, NY singer-songwriter C.K. Flach's insightful and provocative solo debut album ‘Empty Mansions' earned C.K. & The Rising Tide significant accolades, radio rotation and coveted festival slots.

Track 4: "Baby Put A Dress On" - Frank Migliorelli has garnered airplay across American radio while touring both domestically and internationally. In 2017, he was awarded honorable mention in the nationally renowned American Songwriter Magazine Competition. Frank Migliorelli and The Dirt Nappers have been hailed has "undoubtedly talented musicians who write classic, timeless songs flavored with pop, rock and roots that you'll want to listen on repeat." Track 5: "Red Omen" - Ed Roman is an Award-winning singer/songwriter, performer and multi-instrumentalist from Shelburne, Ontario. Blurring the lines between pop, rock, folk, and country music genres, Ed's uniquely crafted songs have received regular rotation on more than 100 terrestrial radio stations across North America and more than 400 stations worldwide. Ed is a 2014 Artists Music Guild Award Nominee, a 2014 International Music and Entertainment Association Award Winner, a two-time 2015 IMEA Award nominee, a 2015 and 2016 Josie Show Awards nominee, an Akademia Awards Winner and a two-time Indie Music Channel Award winner.

Track 6: "Burn This House Down" - Born in San Antonio, Texas, Jeremy Parsons grew up soaking in the sounds of the Lone Star state's dance-hall music. Today, he tours stateside and internationally captivating audiences with his homegrown music, genuine personality, unique humor and a heart-felt love for his art. Jeremy is a Jersey Shore Film Festival nominee, a NCCC Film Festival finalist and a 2018 Josie Music Award nominee.

Track 7: "If I'm Really" - Cole is an up and coming indie-pop singer-songwriter/recording artist/performer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, ukulele and keys). She collaborated with a stellar team to release her debut self-titled album followed by her release of "Two Faced" which was co-written with Jenn Rykert. "Two Faced" was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2017 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) and charted globally on Digital Radio Tracker. Cole is recording her 2nd album and will be releasing singles throughout 2018. She tours from Texas to Nashville and she recently traveled to Anaheim, California and performed at the Anaheim Convention Center for the 2018 NAMM Winter Show. Cole is passionate about helping others through music and donates her time to many charities,benefits and fundraisers; she visits Texas Children's Hospital often to perform for cancer patients and their families

Track 8: "Savage Love" - British Columbia, Canada based Pop recording artist Nina Amelio has achieved enormous recognition and radio success. At present, Nina is on over 60 radio stations worldwide broadcasting in the UK, USA, Italy, Australia, Slovenia, Spain and New Zealand to name a few (15 broadcasts are on FM frequency). Currently "Savage Love" has over 400,000 plays on Soundcloud and has garnished international radio rotation. Nina won Singer Universe 'Best Vocalist of the Month' and was nominated for 'Best Pop Song' at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. Track 9: "Rainbow" - Born in Italy and raised in Spain, Jenny Vinatieri is a singer-songwriter who currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jenny is gaining recognition for her ability to write songs across many genres. She was the Grand Prize Winner of the 2016 Divine Tracks Contest and a semi-finalist in both the International/Unsigned Only and the USA Songwriting Competition.

Track 10: "Victorious (Ansimatik Remix) (Official Dance Anthem)" - Erick Blu is an award winning Pop music sensation. In his young and rising career, Erick has already performed in front of 20,000 people sharing the stage with American acts such as Hoobastank. He also took center stage promoting his refreshing, positive message at the World Scholars Cup in 2010 where he won Best Pop Performance. Erick is now an official member of ‘The Recording Academy' with his songs in consideration for the 60th Grammy Awards. Erick won The 2017 Akademia Music Award for his song "Took The Words' for "Best Pop Song" and an American Music Award for "Best International Song" which can be heard on his Vevo-Certified channel crossing 1million hits.

Track 11: "Ease My Mind (feat. Chris Chand)" - Rudi Jubran aka "0 hype" is a hip-hop artist from Toronto, Canada who was born and raised in Scarborough. He released his much anticipated full length, 14 track project title ‘Before You Enter' displaying his versatility and skill as an artist. With a capable range of sounds and genres, 0 hype approaches rap with a raw, steady, spoken word inspired flow breaking the current meta of the Toronto sound.

Natalie Jean has been nominated over 60 times for her music and has won many awards. The "Letting Go" won a Silver Medal in The Global Music Awards for Best Country Song. Indie Folk Artist Releases Cancer Tribute

After working on his musical tribute for nearly two years, indie folk artist Robert Rossi has finally completed his much-anticipated album, Weathervane. The 13-song compilation will make its debut at the famed Rockwood Music Hall on Saturday, May 14, 2016.

The Weathervane CD is written largely from his mother’s perspective and is part of a larger cancer awareness project by the same name. The goal of the New York-based singer’s project is to commemorate his mother’s life after losing her battle to metastasized breast cancer all while raising global cancer awareness. The ultimate mission of the Weathervane project is to donate proceeds to organizations devoted to cancer research. Weathervane’s aims are significant as the Centers for Disease Control reports that 19.3 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed worldwide each year by 2025.

"Good Time Charlie" - Laurie Ann & The SaddleTones. - From New Jersey, Miss Laurie Ann started writing songs at an early age and has developed an extensive collection of tight, well-crafted songs that tell stories of love, come and gone. She has been performing with her band, The SaddleTones, for several years now and the soon "Good Time Charlie" was recorded and mixed all analog, utilizing vintage recording equipment and techniques such as a RCA 44BX ribbon microphone, Otari MX70 8-track recorder, EMT model 140 plate reverb, and tape-to-tape slapback echo. It was recorded live in a "big room" setting to capture that vibe so prevalent in the recordings of the 50's, 60's, and early 70's.

9 "Pretty Baby" - Big Bone Daddy - From the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania fronted by Bill DeHart that started out as a drummer and trumpet player and fell in love with live music back in 1967. Started guitar lessons in 1968. He joined the band "Oasis" and soon had his own group "Dee Hart." They cut their first album "Some of us are losers" in 1979, and toured Northeast US & Canada for the next 16 years! In 1982 they took second place and won a spot on the Lehigh Valley's Miller Hi-life "Rock to Riches" album. The next year the band released a 45 rpm record, "Jolain Jolain". Now Bill is whipping Big Bone Daddy into shape with his smoking guitar work. We are stoked to have 2 songs on this release Backroom Blues Volume One. "Promised Land" and "All I Got To Say".

Meet the talents on Bongo Boy Records Compilations Volume Eight.

1. Movin On (Electrosoul Mix) - Steve Ryan. Steve has released 3 full length albums, 1 EP, authored 4 books, co-written 5 books, narrated over 100 audiobook projects for publishing companies and authors and has other various acting credits. He is a voting member in NARAS (Grammy™ Recording Academy) and as a songwriter. He is also a member of the Audio Publisher's Association. He is also a SAG/AFTRA eligible actor.

2. My Dreams - Valerie West. 13 year old singer aspiring to someday to touch people around the world with her music. She started singing at the age of 7 in a competition called Delco Idol Jr. Among Delco Idol she has competed in many other vocal competitions. Such as Sea Isle City's got Talent, Yachstock Rising Stars, and My Three Roses in Medford, NJ. Winning overall in each of them. She has had the pleasure to perform at venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe, Ardmore Music Hall, World Cafe, The Apollo Theater, The Trump Plaza, and many other stages. She made her debut at Bongo Boy Records 5th year anniversary party last November.

3. My Kind Of Party – OnPlanetZu. "One day, it was decided that dub step needed to express its insane, danceable, funkable, thrashable alter ego." OnPlanetZu, an original and self-contained entity where creativity manifests itself in the form of rhythm, sound, and performance. OnPlanetZu are an anomaly whose music crosses into an electronic, genre-confused, hip-hop/reggae/rock/you-name-it maelstrom of bass, beat and energy. Their original self-created sounds and 'no pre-recorded samples' approach to production presents a fun, fresh, high-energy blast compared to the follow-suit trend in today's music. OPZ tracks contain an element of unpredictability; changing flow at any given turn.

4. & 8 - Wheya and Parfois J'Ai Envie De Crier - Yona Pax. From France Yona Pax is back on Volume Eight with two powerful songs. 5. Stay Strong - Madison Charnigo. Madison is a 13 year old talented, intelligent, driven and strong-willed teen from Bucks County, PA. Madison is an original singer/songwriter. She has played the acoustic guitar since the age of 7. Madison also plays the electric guitar and piano. Madison's music is influenced by both country and pop. Her original songs are up beat and inspirational and meant to connect to people of all ages. Her 3rd original song "Stay Strong" was produced by Mark Bolger and won Semi Finalist in The Song of the Year 2015. Bongo Boy Records welcomes Madison Charnigo to Volume Eight.

6. Multiply – Conceptz. A hip-hop based duo from Orange County, New York. The duo consists of Short Fuze and Highrowglyphfix. They're both brothers and although people confused them as twins, they're actually 10 years apart. Their Billboard Single "Funky 5" was on the 58th Grammys® ballot. Their music career was captured in their own TV Episode Broadcast and was broadcast on 54 TV channels in Jan. 2016. Bongo Boy Records welcomes back Conceptz.

7. Calling - Deborah Henriksson. Sweden based celtic/pop/folk singer and songwriter. "Her diction is distinct with simple beauty. She uses her voice like an instrument which is both a loyal subordinate to the songs but which also lifts them to heavenly heights in a clear eloquence of purity, beauty and exquisite expressiveness..."- Swedish Rootsy Magazine. Deborah music video for the song "Calling" was featured on USA Television in 2015 through Bongo Boy TV syndicated distribution on cable TV.

9. Knock (Remix) – Megs. At the age of 20 Mags is a songwriter finalist in the John Lennon songwriter International competition. Mags is recording her fourth album at International Acclaimed Dark Horse Studios in Nashville, TN (the studio which produced artists like Taylor Swift, Martina McBride, Neil Diamond and many other) with producer Billy Smiley.

10. Levitating (Remix) - Eye'z. From Oakland, California Eye'z is back on another Bongo Boy Records compilation release. Previous featured with "Go For It" on Volume Two. Eye's is a talented singer and songwriter. Her song new song "Levitation" Remix shows her strong piano talents and uniqueness style that she can truly call her own. With talented pipers and great arrangements Bongo Boy Records welcomes Eye'z on Volume Eight with her song "Lavitation" Remix.

11. Knight In Shining Armor - Allie Carroll. A freshman at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Carroll has been writing and performing since she was 16. Carroll's warm, gorgeous voice and elegant songwriting balances strength and frailty the way classic country singers Loretta Lynn can and Patsy Cline would, tempered with the sound of artists like Taylor Swift and Maroon Five.
